Turbo engine version is great in terms of power and torque delivered in instant .. but this car has higher Center gravity point compare to sedan car . So, not just looking on engine characteristics. Think about the mechanism and system integration to prevent or minimise this car roll over condition occur as crushing on high speed tends to roll over while cornering or come unpredictable incident hit by other car from rear corner angle of attack ..

Bobby, this CX5 2.5T vs Tiguan 1.4T, which one is more fun to drive?
When the car is already on the move, the Tiguan's chassis is slightly more playful. But if you count in traffic crawling, stop and go, then the Tiguan's DSG looses out by far when compared to the CX5's transmission. And course the CX5's 2.5T power outclasses the 1.4T by a big margin.

说实在的，这个二点五涡轮让透露了CX5的功力极限。觉得轮胎，刹车盘都不足以驾驭这个引擎。必须提升才可以充分的发挥。

Its rm100k apart to be honest. X3 is more spacious than the CX5. But other than that, i reckon the cx5 handles better, and better specced. But still, its a bmw x3. More prestige.

Although i'm driving Golf MK6 2.0 GTI stage 1, but i wouldn't flash high beams to thailand b-segment japanese car especially Vios, City, Jazz if i ever encountered them in highway fast lane because i do not know what monstrous setup is inside their engine bay. There was a time i saw a thai vios hogging the right lane driving around 80-90km/h , i was then flashed that car high beam . The next thing is he floor the full throttle and i floor my throttle too , but the distance between me and that car just get further and further away , there was like 4-5 sedan cars gap in between us.
We got totally smoked by those 600hp Isuzu D-Maxs on thailand highways during enduro hahaha
