MIDS Custom Made Bat - 'MidLuga'

Here is my review of a MIDS Custom Made Bat, my mate Pedro named, as a joke, the 'MidLuga' because it's based on the B3 Beluga. Huge thanks to Liam for sending this in to review. Liam is on the Discord server I created and then left as there was just too much going on for me.
I think the bat has some of the traits of the original B3 'Beluga' but its obviously different. Those being a big-hitting area and deceptively good pickup. The Mids bat nice Willow and no stickers for me to point out their shortcomings.

I do this as a hobby and I do not make any money doing this or get paid to create the videos. So owners of the bats cover the return freight costs of bats sent in and I do not always accept a bat for a variety of reasons and do not run a bat knocking service as the time it takes to create content is considerable.

Great review Marc, I loved my B3 beluga, but this is great value for the amauter cricketer and a very reasonable replica.
@pentexg what's the weight of your beluga and how is the pickup compared to weight?
@@ironeagle747 Marc has a review of my beluga on his channel, but from memory it picked up very good, to me felt 2-3 Oz lighter than it's dead weight. Haha I know sounds like an Aldred review lol.

That's as much determined the length of the splice. I think my belugas were longer than this version.
Appart from the grip tape application lol I think this bat represents incredible value for a player who plays on uneven pitches. Well done MIDS

If I remember correctly liam asked for the specs off mine and asked mids to copy it, it’s similar but I can see the difference mine comes in at 2-9 but it is crown willow . Like the bat though seems to knock up well

yes, I sent mids your B3 spec sheet that you sent me. I also told him to make needed alterations to bring the weight down.

That price for that bat is pretty amazing value considering ow big it is...I've never seen a B3 Beluga but get the feeling it's a big bat for big shots!
The beluga works if the handle is nice and thick. I like that it’s an original shape that in a way looks old school. The middle is amazing
@@CricketBatInfo if you say it's amazinh I'd believe you 100%...am now researching for another bat even though my trusty weapon is still going-off after 2 solid seasons of nets & 40 over matches...gotta have a reserve prepped & ready, plus its a good time in the off/pre-season to properly prepare a bat for next Summer.
