This is completely subjective, but I firmly believe that Chalikounas is the best beach on Corfu because:
1. It has a 2.6 km sandy beach;
2. It has warm and crystal clear water;
3. It is uncrowded: no hotels and ample parking;
4. It is boarded by Lake Korission and the Issos Dunes (natural beauty);
5. It has the Tayo Beach Bar & Kantina Chalikouna - refreshments, toilets, lounges and umbrellas;
6. It has Kite Club Corfu and Surf Center Corfu who offer lessons and rentals: kitesurf, windsurf, wingsurf, hydrofoil and stand-up paddle (kite-club-corfu.com & surfcentercorfu.com );
7. It’s a true insider tip - where do Corfiots go when they want to relax?

Extra Points: Alonaki Bay, just north of Chalikounas, has a wonderful taverna and accommodations.
