Hi Cynthia! 👋😃 We waited months for this river to go down.. We have been out several more times, (as you will soon see). There are sooo many finds right now, cuz of all the storms this past year. Then finds will get more scarce, until more storms restock the river again. We don't often see the river this low, so we're seizing the day! 😁😎💖🌞

Hi Susan, I am NOT a cold weather person!🥶 But that river doesn't often get that low, and we waited months!! That's why there are so many finds.. months of storms. We go when conditions allow. I'm glad we went back, several times since, (future vids) cuz next week looks like all rain! ☔🙄😐 Yes, "marble season" came early this year! You have a great week too! -Cathy😁💖

Oh my! We have yet to find an Indian blanket. And my Alley superman may be stretching things a bit. Those are dream marbles! 😍 I did find a really nice German handmade in a bottle dump years ago. It's in great shape! Had it been a river find... it probably would not have survived as well. Drew's best marble find (bottle dump) is a Christensen electric yellow on black base, in about mint condition! (No video of that, but we still have that marble!) -Cathy😁😎

Hi There! 👋😃😎 We waited almost nine months?🤔 I think... For low water here! After the record rainfalls last season, we are finally able to reap the rewards! It figures it would be 39° 🥶 when the water finally went down.. I was going in ANYWAY!! I'm glad Drew was a good sport and went with me. He ended up finding a couple of nice bottles. Funny, I make Drew grilled ham/ cheese sandwiches.. but not sure he wants them on plates from the river. 😜 They're pretty to look at, next to the matching teapot though! Hi There! We doubt that the "diamond" is real, but it's definitely cut to look real! We are definitely in the marbles! Some nice 1930s swirls, etc. Nothing is going to top that 14k cross a couple of vids ago, but I never get tired of vintage marbles and bottles! We never really know what we are going to find on any hunt. That's the fun of it! -Cathy😁💖

We've been enjoying a mild winter this year, but this week it's been blustery. Rain and snow mixed, then sunny, go figure! 😋 I can understand why you go river picking in the cold, cuz you never know what awesome finds are out there! And I am so glad that you do choose to do this, and make the videos. I get a kick out of hearng: "I found a marble! Hi Sheila, 👋😃 Our "marblous" river is not always this fruitful. After months of storms and high water, we are now reaping the rewards! It is a cycle, and sometimes the wait for low water is a long one. That is why we went out in icy water.. 🥶 When the water's low, we gotta go! Thanks for watching -Cathy💖

Yes, I had hundreds of marbles years ago. 😬 Good thing they're small! Plus I have flea market purchases (jars full) to finish sorting! 🙄 Too bad that Nintendo was not in working order.. it would be valuable now! I used to like Tetris too 🙂, and my mother actually had the handheld game, years later! And she was NOT a computer person. That game was addictive. We have gone out several more times, while the water there ( is ) still low. . More vids on the way! I went out today, actually, and found a nice variety of items! (Drew had to work ☹️) but he will be retiring soon. That will be nice! Rain arrives this weekend, and later next week. Glad we got out while we could. Hope you will be out there again, soon enough, finding your favorite things!

Glad to hear you are in fact on the mend! Not surprising about the sleep. You're routine has had a major change. I was not sleeping in January. I went 40 hrs straight without sleep at one point then.. all due to a slight adjustment in my meds ! It was not my intention to take a month off from UA-cam 😬. But I'm back! 😁 As for my marble collection, I did an overview a couple of years ago, but I have many more since then! Too many to show in one video (same with my cracker jack, and our bottles!) We are in the reorganization process here (to say the least!) Maybe once we have things more in order, we can do more show and tell vids. Definitely too much stuff! 🙄💖

Hello Cathy and Drew. This Part 2 video was another awesome video to watch and Lew and I enjoyed watching it as much as part one. You had so many nice marble finds! The Worcester Mass soda bottle was a awesome soda to find and it had cursive embossing on it. 🙂That odd yellow colored glass Washington Medicine bottle is the best bottle find of that whole day. Lew and I vote for that one as the best find of that day. A rare color and could it have been made by a California glass & bottle company? That big brown alcohol bottle with the B B hole in it is still a nice find. Maybe the same person that shot the Atlas mason jar used the same B B gun to shoot the brown alcohol bottle ? Maybe, right? LOL 😂 Too bad the Nintendo Game boy got ruined in the water. Oh well, maybe next time there might be one found not damaged by the water. That rusted axe was a interesting find. It could of been in that river for over one hundred years possibly. Lew and I are looking forward to watching more of your videos. We hope to dig soon and the ground here in our area is only have frozen in some places. We wish good health and luck to the both of you. Hi Jeff & Lew, Glad you enjoyed the video. A few bottles in this one! Yes, that yellow bottle looks even lighter in hand! And it's one we hadn't seen before (being from Washington DC) and yes, it is a blown bottle, despite the screw threads.
That Nintendo game boy would have been a $100 if it was in good working condition (judging by eBay). We waited months to be able to get into that spot (last year's record rainfall). But it was worth the wait! More vids on the way!

Thanks Chris! The vids take sooo long to edit (It takes me almost a week to edit one 20 min vid). Kinda like the time it takes me to cook a fancy meal, just to have Drew inhale it 😄. As long as it is appreciated. I should research that milk weed cream some more... (Isn't actual milk weed goo poisonous?) I can really get going down a lot of rabbit holes with the research. The yellow bottle is definitely the best bottle! We thought, because of the screw top (tooled!) that it was machine made, at first. This is a more rare exception to that rule, and the color is quite desirable! Drew actually spotted that one, even though I picked it up in the video. -The Huntress 😄 Lol
15:26 seems like there was a time holes were put in empty bottles to prevent refilling and reusing?
Hi Betty, Actually, that was a "Federal Law" bottle. But although it was not legal to reuse these liquor bottles, we have never found any with holes that look "drilled?" The Atlas jar was definitely shot at. Interesting thought though.. 🤔😎
Curious.. do you have small hands or are these marbles huge?? Or both ? I've never seen such huge marbles except for being shooters
😄💖 Yes, I have very small hands (size 4 ring finger) so I guess that's why the marbles look big. We occasionally find shooters but most are average size marbles. Thanks for asking! Cathy😁💖
