I started playing valorant more frequently in the past 4 months and these sexist and racist claims have to be exaggerated, I see so many girls playing this game and they hardly ever get harassed and if they do get harassed 90% of the time it's me doing it, this is also the ONLY game I've seen girls be toxic and racist, this week alone I got like 3 games of girls calling people the N word and another girl getting angry at a drunk guy in our match and telling him to go for a drive instead of throwing our game lmfao
There's some solid videos out there of compilations of girls being harassed in Val which helped me to understand their perspective BUT at the same time you could argue those are cherry picked examples. I've played Val since beta and personally have only seen one case where people were being "disorderly" due to another player being a girl but in most other matches where there's a girl in my team it's 100% a non-factor to the team. Hell, maybe it's just my rank, lmao.
As a girl it's honestly just simply because valorant has had less of a playerbase. Ive played val since neon released and Ive been in a TON of toxic lobbies who are just simply rude Bcs I was a girl. There could be a few other reasons, like val actually banning those people, but in the past couple months after returning to val after I quit for a while I haven't had any toxicity in my games. Just cause it hasn't happened in the past 4 months doesn't mean it hasn't ever happened... bcs it used to happen SO much to me
