Such a bullshit profession. Those who are reading my comments please 🙏 keep distance from this profession. Yes, there was a time when organisation’s pay high and recruit HSE professionals, I’m in this position from 17 years. Welder, fitter , carpenter , drivers, housekeeper , rigger etc etc are buying certificates and attending interviews. It’s really unfortunate that companies are selecting them. Because they demand low pay. It’s like Sachin Tendulkar participating in wrestling. Secondly , company understood that they can manage HSE with such peoples. Don’t know how to draft a email, can’t take a training, can’t even talk. This profession is now a septic tank. Any one can come and flush. Imagine , a carpenter is coming and asking to 25 year experienced HSE advisor that he have NEBOSH and would like to come in safety . People are selling certificates . Where as a HSE professional who was offered 2000 USD now it’s 500 to 600 USD. The person who was working as carpenter is sharing accommodation with 25 year experienced person. What a fate.
Indeed true bro, I am also noticed safety professions one of the worst professions in market, people buying certificate and hired on low pay because companies don’t need engage in safety they hire only low grade people for project
