The downloading failed, due to the virus detected. Can we proceed with it by disabling the protection or is it really harmful?
I know this was 3 months ago but VMware is not harmful in anyway. Ive been using it for a couple months now WITHOUT having protection on. I use it for things such as macroing which can be very helpful if you want to get good in a video game behind the screen or do some completely different thing.

Today I only see Fusion Pro and Workstation Pro, there is no Workstation Player anymore.
Yes, VMware Packages Pro like Fusion Pro and Workstation Pro is now free and the Personal Licenses are now Comercial Licenses but you can use it like a Personal Use Only
