Excellent review. For anyone who hasn't realized, this is a 'wood gasifier' stove. Once it's going and hot, the wood gas comes out of that row of holes just inside the top rim and burns just like a gas burner. Note the ring of flames that forms about halfway through this video. Clean and efficient burning. Thanks, Taras.
I actually enjoyed the last two minutes of watching the bonfire and listening to nature. It was quite relaxing, way better than the Fireplace in Your Home videos on Netflix.
Pretty cool. I've made small versions of this but that's pretty impressive. Might try making this from a 35 gal drum cause ain't no way I'm paying 400 bucks.
What you have there is a really big rocket stove. His comment about how it looks like gas flames is correct. What is happening due to the flames coming up out the upper holes is called secondary combustion. Where the burning wood is releasing a flammable gas. The flames coming out at the top is burning that and hence, no smoke.
I made one of those out of two stainless steel stock pots a few years ago. The design really does work well but keep the wood below the top rim otherwise it will have a tendency to smoke.
That’s wood gas that’s on fire from the holes in the wall. It’s gives a beautiful flame. I’m impressed. Looks like you could just use small sticks and make a good flame. Thanks for testing it.
It's pretty much a scaled up soda can stove. But instead of alcohol it uses wood. I am guessing it channels the wood gases up the sides, much like the alcohol version.
There is almost no ash because of the way it is burning the wood and the woodgas. Cool down time is probably 10-20minutes after the fire is done burning completely
Looks great, but how does it work in a zombie apocalypse? I think a small roof about 20cm above the big hole would protect it well from the eventual weather. Thanks for a great review!
Wow that’s an amazing fire pit, I think you’re right it is the best one on the market, id say for 400 dollars to have a smoke free fire for camping and stuff it’s well worth it.
Get yourself a FlameGenie. One fourth the price and works on the same. principle. I have one and love it. We use it on camping trips all the time. Tip: You can get wood pellets at places like Tractor Supply, and Lowes cheap.
Nice variety they have, the big one one have is listed as $299.99 with free shipping throughout the contiguous United States. Thanks for sharing this Taras!
Can you use this bonfire pit to cook steak? Is there some sort of grill you can suspend over it to convert it so it can work like an open fire campfire grill? Thank you Russian hacker.
Taras, I would love a top down view of a fire pit sometime like at the end to be able to see the wood burning and turning into charcoal and shrink over time! Hope you see this, and keep up the good work :)
This is just a large smoke burner stove. You can make one your self out of cans. The smoke turns into hydrogen in the gap and that's what burns at the top and why it's clean.

Do a 24hr survival challenge with all your survival stuff you have

with all the stuff he has it should be at least a month before he runs out of mre's, lighters, fire starters, knifes, and what have you.
He sells most of his gadgets
Do a week 24 hr is just sleeping outside
You do one

Cool looking stove Taras, it's like a wood gas reburner. You should have grill for the top.☺💝🇺🇸
Good video, Everyone complaining in the comments clearly have never herd of wood gasification.
Amazing! Thanks for the demonstration, Taras!
And I agree with you taras. Super awsome bonfire pit. Definatly well worth it for sure
Pretty cool. I've made small versions of this but that's pretty impressive. Might try making this from a 35 gal drum cause ain't no way I'm paying 400 bucks.
It is a wood gas afire stove. There are small versions for backpacking that work the same way.
I use the medium size one when camping... It's great, easy to use and incredible how everything burns, nothing left on the bottom.
Have you had any issues with this rusting over time? And does ash fall out through the bottom or do you need to empty it out? Спасибо!

My buddy has this, it's awesome. It starts like having jets of flame out of the holes around the top.

Thanks for testing it.
Wow that fire pit is amazing! I'd love to have one.

ziljin you are everywhere
James 18 yep UA-cam is amazing.

😂 taras really left 2mins 18 sec of wood burning. gotta reach that 10 min + right?
Anon Ymous well I'm sure he wants to get paid, wouldn't you?
Look at luke and hugo in the background
I wonder how much time does it take to cool down after the fire is out and how do you clean all the ash from the bottom.
There is almost no ash because of the way it is burning the wood and the woodgas. Cool down time is probably 10-20minutes after the fire is done burning completely
with, water and a sponge?
Itachi Uchiha Sponge wouldn’t work due to the grate design, it’d ruin that sponge. A water hose works great though

Thanks for a great review!
I'm tempted to replicate one in stone, great design!
Saw reviews of it rusting after one or two uses... follow up and let us know if it has that issue for you.
Wood gasification, you are looking at the future of garden incinerators? Definitely a powerful wood fuelled cooker.
And also all the fire gets sucked in and goes in between the walls, and coming out from those holes. Nice one! ;)
So beautiful, amazing and satisfying.....BOOM!
Looks like a tumble dryer drum!
If you put a hair dryer blowing air at the holes at the bottom outer edge, do you think it would create a fire vortex?🤔 great video btw
A new use for all those broken washing machine drums 👍🏻🔥
When you have to meet the word count on an essay
Another Excellent Video! Well Done Taras!
Basicly a giant woodgas stove, looks like it! 👍
That is the best variation on this type of fire pit I have seen.
And im just here for the daily boom 🔥🔥
boom.
Wow that’s an amazing fire pit, I think you’re right it is the best one on the market, id say for 400 dollars to have a smoke free fire for camping and stuff it’s well worth it.
Thank you looks like a great product
It's a giant wood gasification stove. Well worth a google to find out more. :)
Get too close and it go BOOOM! hehehe
Stan Themanx U should edit it to say You go boom..lol..very funny though..lol, Peace :)
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I have the next size down “Camp Stove” version. It works just as well as the fire pit version.
Get yourself a FlameGenie. One fourth the price and works on the same. principle. I have one and love it. We use it on camping trips all the time.
Tip: You can get wood pellets at places like Tractor Supply, and Lowes cheap.
Awesome stuff. Worth investing in.
Taras brain is creative. It's very difficult To find a different topic for every video
I always watch ur vids asap and i see that the same time ur fans are here to like it theres one person who dislikes this as soon as u post
Great video ,thanks Taras
Everyone loves this fire pit when will you do another one of their things like a different fire pit or something like that.
You found another great product!
Thanks, just ordered!
How much heat does it radiate to about ten feet or do you have to stand right next to it to feel the heat?
The smoke from wet wood also has a lot of steam. That’s the white stuff and no matter how efficient it is while it’s wet there will be smoke.
Last 2 minutes were the most satisfying.
Nice variety they have, the big one one have is listed as $299.99 with free shipping throughout the contiguous United States. Thanks for sharing this Taras!
Taras should make bushcraft videos, that will be fun
Need to get a grill for it too so you can cook also,.. Anyways cool 👍😀
Please make a full camping video. With all camping and servavel gajiks that you have. It will probably be the most advanced camping on UA-cam.
Much love from Bosnia
What's with the 10 minute stretch in these recent videos?
How UA-camrs get paid, blame UA-cam for cutting their payements
Wide Sama indeed.
This might make a good insert to a stone fire ring, less issues cleaning the sucker out that's for sure.
I can already tell the video is gonna be good!🔥
Uniform Duck It's LIT! 😂
This is basically a giant version of that gasification stove he reviewed a while back.
Nice bonfire thing but gotta say your English is improving quite a lot in a few months
That thing would work great as a bbq pit too. Just put a grate over top of it and cook your food
Ha, how many fire pits do u have Tara's? This is the best fire pit on the market.
Your video is amazing
Lol your dog " hey dude I know your cooking something where's my cut?"
Куплю такой же,обожаю кампинг!👍
Taras, you should try to grill on it in summer! That would be very cool.
Whatever you want to call them i like wen taras says that :)
Yep, that is great. I have buddies that go hunting for weekends. They camp out. This would be great for them. Expensive though: $300.
Awesome piece of gear I have the solo stove and the titan I love them
Pretty dope with the ASMR tail end of the video...who doesn't like fire
Taras we love ya buddy. You should rock the backwards cap tho. 👍 keep up the kool fire vids. 🔥 🔥
Love the design I would use it for Camp or make a cook out lol
I really liked that you showed the burning firepit for a while at the end of the video
Only Taras can get over 500k views by lighting a fire 😂😂😂
Can you use this bonfire pit to cook steak? Is there some sort of grill you can suspend over it to convert it so it can work like an open fire campfire grill? Thank you Russian hacker.
I like your long videos
Taras your videos are so Kul

Biolite is coming out with a firepit, that one is going to be fantastic
Awesome, I want one now
Cook a steak on that 👍
I use this for exactly that but also for a camping fire pit. Makes life easy and funner.
Do some firepit cooking gadgets and use this fire pit please taras
Or two different sized cans supported around the smaller can to be held in place in the bigger can and put wood
How far are you from Pickens SC? Awesome fire pit!
Whatsoever
Morian said it more than 200 times in last 20 videos....
yeah.. but in this video lul
Is that the new "Boom" now?
25th Baam yes
They should make an add on smoker module to go over it to smoke meats. Also a spit/tripod.
You should do the Canway Camping Stove on Amazon! It's an amazing stove
where does all the ash go and how do you clean it ?
Taras, I would love a top down view of a fire pit sometime like at the end to be able to see the wood burning and turning into charcoal and shrink over time!
Hope you see this, and keep up the good work :)
Legend has it Taras never responds to comments.
Nice fire pit
400 dollars? i'd rather dig a hole in the ground for my fire then
Lord Tachanka The Dakota fire pit right ? But you might start some ground fire
hail lord
I would say that if you go camping or hunting 4-5 times a year, it would be worth it.
Dakota pit.
does it make any smoke?
This is just a large smoke burner stove. You can make one your self out of cans. The smoke turns into hydrogen in the gap and that's what burns at the top and why it's clean.
So how will you send your smoke signals, now ?.,
Awesome video!
Спасибо за ролик!👍
