Watching Selbst punt is always a fun time.
Agreed. She's a terrible loser, IMO.
She was one of the first girls who made all men in poker to realize that girls can be aggressive in poker to that was important to see but she needed to learn to fold sometimes she even said she never would fold the kk however the hand was playing and it s one of the worst flop s for kk exept a ace on flop after a raise and a call so had she learned to fold sometimes she would be amazing instead of just great but she was important for girls in poker to learn not to just play abc poker my opinion Greetings CZ 75 Shadow (Stu Ungar fan)✌🏻💯
@@cz75shadow2 Its not a girl.
@@straightouttacornwall ok woman then u think she s a man?
It is insane how far all the Mizrachi bros made it. Pretty unprecedented
It's surreal seeing such a young Garrett Adelstein playing in the main event. NGL
Wouldn’t you expect a high stakes pro to be playing in the wsop? Seems like it’s the opposite of surreal seeing him play here.
Who know what waffles think about, but I know I don't eat doors and spoons. No rhinos in the kitchen
@@saljablo2767 it was surreal to me seeing him so young, since he was only 24 at that time, not that he was there in the first place.
@@lawrencewiley1594 okay
@@stringfellowlocke2214 lol he literally almost looks exactly the same. He’s not exactly aging like a season Doyle Brunson.
Love the opening music so iconic to wsop 😊
Wonder how different the game would be if black friday did not come. Was a bummer I had just started playing online. Greed from a few ruined it for so many. Anyways this is still great entertainment.
What do you mean greed from a few? The government = a few?
from the few behind the scenes at fulltilt@@jeremymathis5041
Well said, id probably still be playing on pokerstars
Hilarious to see Matusow still defending that 97 call. Your read might have been right , but you were at best 50/50, why risk your top 5 stack at that moment in that spot
“Told you I was gonna bust you” before he even makes the call with 2 cards to come and doesn’t even know if he’s ahead lol
Because he was arrogant, cocky, and was feuding with Raymer all tournament that year. Raymer, whatever you think about him, didn't deserve the lip he was getting from Mike, and it's fitting Raymer was the one who knocked him out pretty much
Agree 100%. Matusow has on many occasions bragged about not knowing or caring about the quantitative side of the game, and this is just such an example.
The funny thing is that Mike says he read Raymer for weakness. If anything, Raymer would have felt (looked) pretty confident once his all-in wasn't snap-called. At that point, Raymer knows he's at worst flipping (e.g. if Matusow had KK), to say nothing of the amount of fold equity. He was anything but weak against Matusow's range.
Vanessa is so incredibly unlikable it's actually impressive.
1:20:27 Garrett Adelstein BLEW UP HIS STACK with QJ all in preflop vs Johnny Chan AHAHAHHAHA
Candio
Didn’t even wanna shake that kids hand after he sucked out on him with A-9 , still sour about the kids pointless bet from earlier in the game , guy needs to
Chill
None of the Mizrachi's are likable people
Phil G is a class act very smart methodical and down to earth guy.
Wow Garrett is young there .
The "PHWAP" at 43:02 ❤
I feel for him, hope he's doing alright.
Way to punt Galfond! 🏈
Gotta love when a player calls Ace rag against Kings and sure enough the ace comes up
Love watching these old reruns of WSOP main event. I almost didn't recognize Adelstein.
Indeed. These telecasts don't seem all that long ago... and then they show someone like Garrett or LuckyChewy or durrrr. And then it's a "oh yeah, 2010 was a while ago, wasn't it?"
1:25:52 THIS ANNOUNCER IS A COMEDIAN!! 🤣
Dude didn't miss the whole night.
Epic year
55:43 1:14:44 The eventual winner of the whole thing.
Doug Polk scoring 476th place! Nice job bro
I wonder why so many players look back at their cards after they have gone all in and the opponent has folded. What are they expecting to see?
Bad play Tony Dunst, raising on the river with 4 hearts 💕 💞 ♥️ on the board & no heart in your hand.😢
To call an all in 3 way with A9. How 🤔 the heck did that 😳 dude last into day 5?
I see polks name in the title I click
my number 1 pet peeve in poker is people betting during an allin in a tournament, unless you have the nuts or at the very least a monster hand, the only thing youre doing is giving the allin guy a better chance to stay alive
Selbst is such an angry dude
Anyone can hold their own against pros on any given day. The real trick is to do it consistently.

@@iamhorcruxer How did you misspell 'victim' that badly.
56:50 Poor Koroknai. I've got a feeling he'll have better days ahead.
Koroknai angleshot someone in the 2012 main. I believe it was like he went all in but he actually didnt. I do not feel bad.

Garrett looks so young. 7:08
He’s a young looking guy today. Why wouldn’t he look young 13 years ago?
Scotty was a funny guy
Was?
If he wins and up he s nice 😎if he down not the prince of poker 😊
why scottie call with AJ ?
That judge doesn't need to be on the bench
Why is Lon shouting?
He doesn't shout so much as he goes up in register... shouting without being louder. Kind of a trick of the trade, really.
That hand at 10:20 was a chip dump their working together it happens all the time in tournaments men the master would have his friends chip dump to him too
Yeah, that bet makes absolutely no sense unless he was trying to lose the main pot and help Boudreau win it.
lol they're not anywhere near the money he has no incentive to just check it down and hope to knock someone out, and if kevin just has overcards his equity is massively improved getting heads up. he can get candio to fold for a tiny bet clearing out a bunch of equity risking very little.
@@calpoker21 They were already in the money at this point.
@@db399 ahh ok well I still think he's more incentivized to win the pot then eliminate someone so trying to say only reason for him to bet is collision is ridiculous and a very serious accusation. the only way it would be suspicious is if they were right near the bubble.
01:14:56 shows you why it’s impossible to win the main event. All those minefields you have to avoid...lol at gto, it’s all luck
I believe I'm known as the rambling wreck

Mike said he read weakness in Raymer that hand. lol
He felt he was ahead and he was right and went for it but yes a little strange story all in all should taken another play but was sponserd by 😂
@cz75shadow2 small top pair vs what flush draw and overcard draws 2 times jammed into on flop? He just wanted to beat him Raymer had him tilted bad. That was against himself and he lost. I get it though.
What episode is the prahlad fold incident ?
Day 2 I believe
Day 2
Yesterday
"Selbst, a top pro, made a mistake that many amateurs make: overplaying a big pocket pair." Jeeeez, Norm... Purk had about 30 BBs heading to the flop. That hand played itself. If anything, I'd give Selbst credit for the reluctance of her call.
N.Chad was wambuzled by his x wives! 😅😅😅
Only showing 2 hands from Garrett was criminal
Back when the rio wasn’t a complete shthole
Hahahaha I was thinking the same during the 2009 coverage 😄
It's terrible now.
말해노재의다말해
Can someone explain what game they are playing please?
They're playing 'show me yours and I'll show you mine'
Blackjack 🙃
Something about scoring a ball into the net. Curling I think.
i'm an online legend too.
I hate when people say they’re sorry when they knock someoen out. If you’re so sorry then give them their chips back. It’s so stupid
You can be friends, and like people,,like them being around, but it's a game still and someone has to lose

so true
I can't stand candio
Candio is Kassouf level annoying
Definitely in a different way.
Commentary so cringe and terrible and I’m only at the beginning. Saying Selbst overplayed the over pair. Talking bad about the guy who bet into the 10k side bet. You guys are dumb. Jus cuz one player is all in doesn’t mean the other 2 players have to automatically check it down. And the guy with A9 coulda called instead of fold anyway
That profile pic you got is cringe
Lon and Norn are the 🐐 s. You sir need to wake the eff up lol.
@@imnotoopinionatednaw they can be funny but analysis is terrible
The commentary is one of the key elements to these old wsop videos. You are objectively incorrect.
That bet from mcnamara was beyond idiotic, 8 6 no draw absolutely nothing. Poker Bufoonary
Jesus how irritaiting to listen to the commentators screaming all the time....
Grande Filippo ❤❤❤
I hate guys with sebst cut.
