good to see you out with Greg, a great guy, pitty you didnt do so well , but just good to be out on the water fishing, heading out in the yak today myself , have to go back toward the power station brigde dew to darn nor east winds, strange winds for this time of year !
Yeah, it was a really fun day out. We weren't expecting to be out there that long, hence the mic receiver on the wide view running out of battery. Even though they were undersized, it was fun to get onto a few and well it looks like there is some good stocks for summer! Good luck on your trip!
Yeah I have some more vids to come oit the next few weeks. Finding editing time with the new job has been the challenge. Yeah I heard on All the Gear But no Idea podcast that they have been fiting more down at Brighton/Glenelg way...
I live not that far from St. kilda and am always interested in local content. Question is that raider fishing rod a egeing rod or a light fishing setup?
@@michaelmifsud2851 the rod I used was a Raider 722 Bream 1-4KG with a Shimano Ultegra 2500, spooled with 6lb Daiwa J Braid. The egi rod is a Shimano IMPACT X 7'6" 3-6KG 'Egi' with 15lb J Braid and a 12lb Leader. Don't need to go that heavy on the latter but when I am usually lifting from a jetty that's why I go a bit heavier. Hope that helps.
still beats working. we've always struggled off stkilda way, much prefer the southern waters from west beach just cruising the shallows. just watch the pro.

Yeah was a good session. 👍 Looking forward to getting some more vids out soon!
Looked like a fun trip fellas! 🤙🤙
Yeah it was a good trip. A few laughs and a few fish, even though they were a little small. They feel bigger on the lighter gear. ;)
Good to see ya getting out for a fish again. Been hard work off St kilda recently
