what i believe is IAS mock interviews are significantly tougher than ibps, so prepare for IAS TYPES and i am sure you'll crack it in the very first attempt only.

A few engineers would appear, would try including mechanical as well...
At least ask some questions related to mechanical engineering sir .please .i am in a predicament about what type of questions the panel will pose the aspirants.
Rajesh, Don't worry about that. Just google it; you would find a lot of stuff to prepare. And remember, no list would be exhaustive. Also, do one or two subjects thoroughly. That should do. Rest of the questions remain the same for all the engineers...
Sir i am engg graduate...but i didnt like it at all....and could not get a placement there...then i started preparing for bank jobs

Great interview given by this person...but i don't konw interview is for know person...but each and every person did not speak 100%true in interview he gives universal answer what all gives... And in reality he doesn't really behave like that in day to day life...and interviewer also ask such questions which have universal answer... And student also give that answer.... I think ( i don't say i am good person in interview) that interviewer ask such questions so that person give real time answer what his opinion in reality...Not a universal answer ... Because here student also give that answer which they read not about their opinion.
If I were there in the panel......I would have payed him more than the expected pay...if possible.....wow....that was an excellently prepared candidate!!

Hi Rajat, There are no 3-4 questions that you can prepare quickly. Do the basics of your subjects, just the basics. That should do.

Sir, I have a question, after my Btech Computer Science(2014 pass-out), I got job offers from few IT companies through campus placement and I joined one of them, but after working there for 1 month, I left my job as I always wanted to go for banking sector and as I could not balance my banking preparation side by side along with my job.So I had to leave my job.I didn't receive experience letter as they had a bond period for minimum 1 year.Now I'm finally called for IBPS PO interview 2017.Please, sir kindly suggest me how to tackle questions like "what did you do since 2014?why you had the gap?" as I didn't mention about my job in my resume/application form as I don't have experience letter, only have their offer letters.Please, sir kindly help me.

Please tell them the truth, highlighting the fact that you had a few job offers but chose to pursue a career in banking instead. Also, do talk about value addition in these 2 years, whatever form it may be in.

1. Any of the two would work. Choose whichever you think you can pull off more convincingly. Would suggest stating the truth.
2. Value addition can happen in many ways while preparing for an exam - your general awareness, personality, problem solving skills, language ability etc. All these things definitely make you a better person and a better professional, even if you leave the core purpose of getting into a bank aside.

You can handle cross questions easily. You can say that you were still confused at that time. Being a computer engineer, an IT company becomes your natural choice, isn't it? You may say you were always inclined towards banking, but your belief strengthened after working in an IT company for a month - "This isn't something I would want to do for the rest of my life." Frame the thoughts clearly in the form of an answer, cross question yourself, then find their answers. It's a process...

1) Why did you chose banking as your career after pursuing b tech degree? What's the need for an engg degree for banking?
I'm frm Kerala, but opting Tamilnadu as cadre for better possibility
2) Why did you chose tamilnadu as your cadre despite you are born and brought up in Kerala(if I have nothing in the CV to prove connection with TN )

Engineers plz try to explore opportunities in tech and science.. Though its a personal choice.. But coming down to banking is synonymous with degrading engineering.. If u choose engineering try to be an engineer not a banker!

sir this is very helpful for all the fresher .. sir I did my 10+2 in 2008 with biology stream after that I went for pre medical course but I couldn't succeed it n I use to continue for pmt exam for 4 year . but in 2012 I got a selection in bsc (Hons) with agriculture stream recently in 2016 I completed my graduation n now I called for ibps afo interview. I'm worried about what should I say when they asked me about those 4 years of drops .. pls help me sir ...
Speak the truth; you hardly have a choice. It's not like they won't take a candidate like that. If asked about this gap, don't get jittery, speak with conviction, admit what went wrong, what you learnt from that phase, and how you could have done better. Tell them indirectly that it is history now, and you have moved much beyond that. Try to drive the interview towards other, positive parts of your profile/personality.
