I love Loki's fighting style, it's mostly focused on precision and agility, different from his brother who mostly use brute strength
really because at 10 minutes, Disney shows us how epic the coreography ISNT

Is it just me, or did they really undersell Loki’s Asgardian physiology in his series? Like, Loki is meant to be on-par or close to Thor’s level of strength, speed and agility, albeit utilizing it in a different way due to his build and temperament. In the movies he takes bullets and point-blank explosions like they’re mere annoyances rather than actual threats. He throws humans around like ragdolls and even bests Captain America for a few moments before the latter figured out his style. In the show, he’s been pushed down to being on the human level of strength, especially in the scene where he fights the man Sylvie is possessing. He gets beaten rather badly in that scene, despite having a great deal more power than the man. Then he fights the men/women of the TVA and still gets beaten and pinned. Makes me wonder if the TVA did more to him than just nullifying his powers inside their realm.
They did, but his character is so much better now so no one really minds. We seen just some of his potential with classic Loki able to reconstruct Asgard to the tee using a projection.
Yup, they totally did. Now that marvel has started with this whole feminist thing, they are doing the already existing male characters weak so the female version of them is stronger, more intelligent, mor capable and better than them. It's such a shame, honestly.

Ppl complain that Loki was nerfed a lot in the show but honestly it's great to see him using magic more, always wondered why he only occasionally used basic illusions in the movies
It’s not about using magic, is about loki getting rag dolled in a physical fight with a buff human 7:28 that’s physically impossible because he’s a frost giant who survived being whacked around by hulk, is bulletproof and didn’t even budge when cap punched with all he had in the first avengers movie…his physiology can’t allow him to be ragdolled by a human regardless of magic
It's not abt magic it's about how they degraded his character. They made him into a idiot. Compare thor ragnarok loki and tva loki, they're completely different people.

Personally, I think that Loki was super crazy and really scary in his movies with Thor, he was a tremendous villain and apparently the producers realized that and they lowered him in the following movies and even in the series because he was only good. It could take many people away, I think the creators have been afraid of success and of course without Tom Hiddelston it wouldn't be what it is.
Well they didn’t let him be much of ‘Loki’ in the show.
I think he wasn’t fighting normal humans in Loki series, he was fighting his variant who happened to be quite strong.
Agree, variants are not humans, they are aliens who might be as strong as Loki is and for the man he fought with, one of the guy was under Sylvie (Loki)'s power so it could be her strength that was animated the guy or, once again they are aliens that might be as strong as Asgardians or Frost Giant

Hopefully this ‘variant’ fool can be badass in a movie again someday (the only time he was badass in the show was at the *VERY* end of S2E6, He was only supposed to be in the very first Thor movie btw. 😉 The ‘TVA Loki’ sucks but now that he’s out and away from there, there’s and is probably be going to be in Deadpool 3, Doctor Strange 3, Thor 5, Avengers Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.

The writers were not creative enough with Loki, plus people really, really loved him... The producers cant have the side villian be greater than the Heros, so they turned him into a joke. Ruined him on purpose. By Ragnarok, they just didnt have much to do with him

He *WAS* evil in Avengers 1, mainly due to the Mind Stone in the sceptre and the torture of Thanos plus the trauma he had in Thor 1.
1 thing I don't get is that Loki survived a GREAT SMASHING AND PAIN from the hulk but died from choking
Hulk is indeed strong, but thanos is more skilled and serious. So sadly yes, I'm just surprised he was stupid enough to go head on.

He was killed by the one who was almost going to kill Hulk. Thanos with gauntlet was much more stronger and skilled than Hulk. BTW stories are based on the convenience of its makers and not on logic.

Unlike Captain America or Black Panther, whose fighting styles are more 'honorable', Loki's style is spontaneous as he is a trickster. But make no mistake.
