"Let's Make Peace" Trailer - Best Animation 2023

"Let's Make Peace (Snowed In), directed by Abdollah Alimorad, was the winner of Best Animation at Screen Culture Film Festival 2023.

In full claymation, this project follows two neighbours, the smoke from one hourse disturbed the other. The film shows us how sometimes with a common enemy we realise how similar we are and can become friends.
Director Biography
Abdollah Alimorad was born in Tehran on the 22nd November 1947 and has always been attracted to painting and manual work. After obtaining his high school diploma, he enrolled at the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts, but reluctantly had to leave through lack of funds. Back in Tehran he enrolled at the Kanoon School of Animation (founded by Noureddin Zarrinkelk).
Once qualified, he began work at Kanoon itself, holding various responsibilities on numerous projects, and producing his main body of work.
Appreciated both at home and internatially, among his many prizes special mention must go to the 'Grand Prix for best short film, awarded to 'Bahador at the Cannes Junior section of the 2001 Cannes Film Festival.
