It really is ! Josh is the girl Thomas marries, I forgot her name. She thinks she's gonna have a great time but soon she has to ask herself: what the fuck is going on ? Also, of Thomas and Lucille, Lucille is the more dangerous one (or more intimidating). Thomas apparently really likes Edith (yeah I think that was her name ) and wants her to 'stay at the party', that means to survive, I guess, while there also seems to be a weird relationship going on between the siblings. Lucille wants to protect her brother , since he seems more vulnerable, naive and less cold than her. So yeah, you're right. (But I'm not really sure how the gimp suit fits into the movie haha)

That was strange. Enjoyable, but very strange. I wonder how many times it took Tom Hiddleston to do that bit crying in front of the mirror without cracking up. Pretending to cry when you're saying or doing something really funny is tough. managing to do that while you can clearly see yourself in a mirror... wow.
Actually, I highly doubt whether Tom cracks up in middle of acting like Chris Evans . He's trained for theatre where NO MISTAKES could be made in acting , and that's what makes him an acting genius . I mean , look at Marvel filming videos of him . Almost always his acting was flawless ; he keeps a strictly serious face and only laughs if others were also laughing . Therefore I don't think he needed any practice to act in THIS .
I would have liked Crimson Peak even more if it had happened like this. No unfortunate and messy murders, just the Sharpe siblings forcing Edith to participate in an incredibly awkward party.
