Another modification I've seen is to have a nail, longer than the board is wide, inserted from under the board so the point sticks up out of the board to rotate the frames on.
Aren't you worried about problems with the honey you're going to eat coming into contact with the hardware cloth being as it's not stainless and could be rusted.
