EAGLES...my favorite band of all time. Been to 8 of their concerts and will be going to Vegas to hear them at the Sphere. Favorite song: (1) Best of My Love followed by (2) Lying' Eyes, then (3) New Kid in Town and (4) Tequila Sunrise and finally (5) "No More Cloudy Days". Mr favorites but honestly I love ALL their songs. Glad they are still performing...it keeps them "young." Go EAGLES!
We saw them in 96 Vancouver BC when the honeymoon of getting back together was just over the peak. Not long after that and the egos and greed became first and foremost. They blew me away when they started playing their solo hits! I never knew what became of them when they split It was AWESOME!

Actually it was co written by Glenn Frey. He lived above Jackson at one point. He heard Jackson working on it at all hours. Frey finally asked Jackson if he could take a shot at it. At first Jackson said no, he’d finish it eventually. Months later when he still hadn’t finished it he let Glenn. He is the one that came up with the line, it’s a girl my lord in a flatbed ford. Jackson has said he didn’t even know what a flatbed ford was. I am kinda obsessed with Jackson Browne and know a bunch of musical trivia . 😊

What a difficult decision my favourite song , I think the first one I ever heard whilst shopping with my wife in london “ desperado “ we were in a boutique and it was playing , I asked one of the staff who it was . The rest is history . I never get tired of listening .
The last resort is a pure masterpiece, doesn’t get the credit it deserves deserves,The real Eagles don’t exist any more, It’s Don Henley and friends in my opinion.

It doesn't matter that he was fired from the band: he's still legally a creator of that piece of music, so he would get one-third of the royalties (unless he sold his interest in it). Streaming and downloads mean that the money keeps rolling in, regardless. It's their most downloaded song.
I attended a Linda Ronstat concert at my college and I'm sure some of her accompanying musicians WERE soon to be Eagles members. So I like to think anyway.

A very talented man in a legendary band that he was essentially the backbone of, though he always considered Glenn Frey the leader of the band (not minimizing the talent of all the other members who were also an integral part of their success) just my opinion. A solo career that was also first-rate, despite the rumors of greed, narcism etc. Don Henley has certainly cemented himself as one of the greatest musical artists of our time.
I met Glen Fry in Big Daddy’s in West Palm Beach Florida. I was a hairdresser and I had this really cool hairdo and that’s why he came over to me. We had fun partying together and we never paid to get in nor did we pay for our drinks.
Lyin'Eyes..........it's a great story really of how we think we can manipulate this world to serve us. in the end, it's not our choices that make us happy, but we must just 'choose' to be happy in whatever situation we are in.
I grew up listening to Eagles since the early 70’s and became one of my all time favorites. I’m very sad to learn so many negative things about Don. He has to answer for his life and he will.

The songs and the lyrics are ageless. A 40 (or more ) year-old tune is as relevant today as it was then. Henley and Fry are tunesmiths and both their own and their joint compositions have stood up as well if not better than any other band.
Hotel California was one of the Eagles hits that was so different to me when i heard it. Now i have Don's The very Best CD and Everything is different now and Boys of Summer. He sings with subtle emotion and i LOVE his voice.💖

Hotel California was one of the Eagles hits that was so different to me when i heard it. Now i have Don's The very Best CD and Everything is different now and Boys of Summer. He sings with subtle emotion and i LOVE his voice.💖
