Manila City is a very old and historical place! Now that we have MetroManila we consider Manila City as the "Old Manila" and "MetroManila" as the Modern and "New Manila". Nice video and very educational as well, as always thank you so much Tayo for featuring old Manila City!

Dude, that's not really the main difference between Manila and Metro Manila! The City of Manila is just one city whereas Metropolitan Manila or Metro Manila is a whole region composed of 16 different cities (including the City of Manila) and 1 municipality. The City of Manila is the capital city of the Philippines whereas Metropolitan Manila, formally the National Capital Region (NCR) and commonly called Metro Manila is the capital region and largest metropolitan area of the Philippines.
@@rm_alfaro Obviously you're trying to play the "smart" card here. He was describing Manila City as old and historical METAPHORICALLY not literally (although it IS really old and historical) but the rest of the metro is like the "New Manila" because of these modern places like BGC in Taguig City, Ayala CBD in Makati City, Ortigas Center in Pasig City, Greenfield in Mandaluyong City, Araneta Center, Cubao in Quezon City etc..
You should also check out the "National Museum of Fine Arts" and "National Museum of Anthropology" apart from the "National Museum of Natural History"! These 3 museums are located within the National Museum Complex in Manila within the grounds of Rizal Park. These 3 national museums are the main or central museums of the "National Museum of the Philippines".

Another historical site you can visit is the grandiose Ayala Museum in Makati. It displays the historical heritage gold treasures of ancient Filipinos.

The middle roof like a sphere similar to the roof of the British Museum. I haven't visited this museum. I used to worked just walking distance from this place at Manila Doctors Hospital. Maybe it was not open during my time there.
The National Museum of Natural History was officially inaugurated on September 30, 2017. The museum opened on May 18, 2018
