Indeed ....fantastic childhood memories. I don't want to over-exaggerate my own history and say I bought everything Meat Loaf made ..... but the "Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell" album was the musical highlight of my childhood. I was 12 when that released. I remember clear as day ....a friend first copied that up for me on a cassette tape but I really wanted the actual retail tape ....and saved up weeks of pocket money to buy it. Had a Springer Spaniel dog called Willow .....used to take him on massive walks across country fields. On summer evenings would just let him run free across the fields ....get out the cassette player, put in the earphones .....fire up that Meat Loaf tape on full volume and listen to the rocking sounds of all the tracks on that tape. "I'd Do Anything for Love", "Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through", "Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are"....and of course my actual favourite, "Everything Louder than Everything Else" .....just damn fantastic! Just love the energy and emotion Meat Loaf put into those tracks. And memories I will never forget. May he rest well.

Rushed out the following day and purchased the album. Changed my life. In my spare time I write poetry. The collaboration between Jim & Meatloaf inspires me to this day. This music captivated my soul and sent it soaring through the dark dark night releasing my spirit.
Songwriter Jim Steinman (passed spring of 2021) and now Michael Lee Aday (the name he changed to), with various reasons why he went by "Meat Loaf", now can join the angels in heaven, can you imagine the lyrics together there? He was my all time favorite album and singer! I know every word to every song on Bat Out Of Hell album. I was 15 when it came out. I still have 3 CDs copies of the album.
