You two have the most unique 2024 list of all UA-cam gamers I follow. I had to check to make sure you were referring to 2024 because most of your games I had never heard of…nice to be introduced to so many great games. Love your show. Keep the Cross-Over hand jazz going.
Congratulations. You have earned 26 points for today's choreography. You are on pace to earn a choreography bonus round multiplier! You might win things and stuff! Keep up the good work.
Your review for Shackleton Base brought me to your channel and put the game on my shopping list for Essen. Now it is for sure my number 1 of the year as well. Such a great game!
Love the list guys! I always enjoy you two because you have so much fun! I'd love to see a top ten 5-player game list if you ever play those simply because our group has 5. Thanks!
Euro game heaven this channel, LOVE IT! My take: Spectacular: top 20 Asian Tigers: need to play, waiting for new edition Morrison Game Factory: ON the shelf, need to play Agemonia, Endevour and 7th Citadel: No interest Sankore: top 10 Phoenix New Horizon: Curious but not in rush to get it. El Burro: On the shelf, need to play Men Nefer: my number 2 of the year SETI: Top 10, only played once, waiting for preorder
@@BoardGamingRamblings Its the best video game port I could ever imagine. The games are fairly short. quick setup. You unlock stuff every run by spending cells just like in game but also by getting blurprints from biomes just like in the game or from bosses. It encourages running zones several times and you sort of have to because when you die or kill a boss, your run resets. You will get new cards and deckbuild, you will get new items that goes into a pile of item which you draw from randomly so you cant always run with the same items. You have persistent buffs you discover, runes you unlock that lets you interact with maps in certain ways, use shortcuts, etc. Its soooo good. Been playing with my 10 year old like 20 times so far and im the guy who rarely play games more than 1-2 times. im sure its not for everyone but it definitely is for me. But yes, the first few runs were hard until we started getting unlocks but that was also amazing because each unlock is so cool. Cant recommend enough.
Great list ! Some real gems were released this year. Top games for me: (1) Ezra and Nehemiah (2) Men-Nefer (3) SETI (4) El Burro (5) Shackleton Base I am still a bit puzzled why you are so lukewarm on Ezra and Nehemiah. For me, this is hands down the best Garphill Game released so far (despite the beige colour scheme and the dry theme in which I have little interest). I think you should really give it another chance. The mechanics around the card play and the timing of the pivot from one banner colour to another are just fascinating.
Nice list! I skipped German Shackleon Base Crowdfunding - I might regret this? Looking forward to pick up Men-Nefer and Ezra & Nehemiah when they hit German retail. Seti would be my first pick so far. :)
Thanks for sharing. I too finished Agemonia! I like Tidal Blades 2 too. Have SETI ordered. Mentioned some of my favs above. Add to those: Leviathan Wilds, Invincible, LotR Duel, Mistborn: The Deckbuilding Game (which may be my #1)
Wonderful list! We need to get Men-Nefer & Phoenix New Horizon otherwise very enjoy your picks. Our favourite game this year has been Rise & Fall - don't know if you've had chance to check it out? If not, definitely worth a few plays
@@BoardGamingRamblings Rise & Fall is definitely unforgiving. Great game. If somebody gets caught in that downward spiral, I don't think starting over would be a bad thing (when they've realized where they went wrong).
Sunniva wins!!!... again... She predicted 15 crossovers and I think you ended up with 15. Johannes came up 1 short... again... Happy holidays and thanks for another year of fun ramblings with some board game info thrown in! Also, congrats on hitting 20K! 🎉🥳🎉
This was a bit of down year for me compared to 2023 and 2022 but I still managed to find some absolute gems. My top 3 for 2024 would be: 3. Ezra and Nehemiah 2. Windmill Valley 1. Inventors of the South Tigris I'm definitely interested in checking out Shackleton Base. Hopefully some solo playthroughs will be released soon.
Love your content. May I ask: Miss, what is your name? I cannot for the life of me understand what you say in the beginning of each video 😂 xoxo happy holidays
Surprised that Sweetlands didn't make its way into your list. Is that because, while played this year, it won't release until (at the earliest) 2025? Or did feelings on it cool?
Great list. Haven't played these games, but watched letsplays. For me TOP-1 is Man-Nefer. I can't get this game, Because I'm from Ukraine. But it's not so sad, because the game has a theme of death (burial).
Hope you have some games to play, either physical or on BGA :) There are so many games to choose from, and nobody needs all of them! :D Thank you for watching!
I’m only here for the crossover dance. Thanks!

What a great year it's been for Euros. I still need to play way too many to make a list myself, but soooooo much better than last year.
Yeah, this was a great one for medium and heavy euros for sure! We had so much fun :D
Your review for Shackleton Base brought me to your channel and put the game on my shopping list for Essen. Now it is for sure my number 1 of the year as well. Such a great game!
So happy to hear you are enjoying it! That makes me so happy :D
Fantastic List....Really enjoy your channel....looking forward to all your content in 2025...Thanks for a great year of videos. God Bless
2024 was a great year for games because I didn’t have one crossover with you on my top 10! So many great games this year.
Great list and video! You two are great!
Thank you for the kind words!
Shackleton Base is so good...keep up the great work you two!!

You made me curious about a few these! Greta video you guys :)
You should! Thank you 😊

For me its Dead Cells hands down.
I cant get enough of it.
Really want to try it, but haven’t looked very much into it. I enjoy the video game. How similar are they?

It was in my top 20 (of almost 200) so I would absolutely say that I enjoyed it a lot 🥳
@@BoardGamingRamblings Still way too low… 🤪
This episode was packed with epic crossovers! 5-star list!
So happy you liked it! 🤩

@BoardGamingRamblings well spoken!
Crossover dances are THE BEST!!!!
We really want to play Men-Nefer, some incredible picks friends!

I really liked Rise & Fall! Sunniva basically lost in the first 10 min of the game, so she didn’t like it too much 😂

I think we play so many games each year, so we are bound to find some fantastic ones every year, hehe! Happy to hear you found some new favorites! :D
Great list. Bit you forgot Arcs,’best game of the year by far!
It’s on the shelf, but sadly unplayed!
I hope I’ll like it, but I do not think it will be a top game for us! :)
You will be surprised! (Maybe)
Literally played it today absolutely amazing
I've played both Arcs and Shakelton Base, and for me, I prefer SB. Both amazing games in their own right
Love your content. May I ask: Miss, what is your name? I cannot for the life of me understand what you say in the beginning of each video 😂 xoxo happy holidays
It’s supposed to be a mystery 😂
It’s Sunniva 🤩
For quite a long time I thought it’s Cinnamon… 😬
I need to get Shackleton Base to the table! I would say that Andromedas Edge is my fav or 2024.
So happy you’re enjoying Andromeda’s Edge 🤩
Surprised that Sweetlands didn't make its way into your list. Is that because, while played this year, it won't release until (at the earliest) 2025? Or did feelings on it cool?
We only include games released in 2024, so it won’t be a contender before next year! I’m super excited to play it again 🤩
Anyone who's been to my website knows the real truth: the dances ARE choreographed. Those that know, know. (🤣)
Great list. Haven't played these games, but watched letsplays. For me TOP-1 is Man-Nefer. I can't get this game, Because I'm from Ukraine. But it's not so sad, because the game has a theme of death (burial).

No Civolution😢
Your making me hate crossovers
Hahahaha! I'm sorry :P It's just part of who we are!
@ great video mmenner neffer looks. Fun to play. Merry Christmas 🎄
