    1 Timothy 4:4-5
[4] For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, [5] for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.

At 9:57, I don’t think the intended scripture was cited. Was that possibly supposed to cite 1 Timothy 4:13?

Excellent video, and very helpful as I am writing an essay about the regulative principle. Could you tell me what sources you used in making this video please?

Christian prudence would presume that in any gathering for public worship there will be unbelievers. When is the preacher to preach the gospel to them ? Or are they merely spectators?

Thanks for this Doug and Christ church. I struggle with the WCF concept, approach or "shape" of christian worship, as not only is it not grounded in the triunity of God in an overt way, but its also not grounded in the mediation of Christ in an overt way. Whats with Reformed worship and its clear choice to shape worship in a "covert" trinitarian way ?? And, following on from Robert Letham's critique of songs sung in "christian churches", reformed included, when are we going to be singing explicitly trinitarian songs and not majorly historical unitarian or binitarian songs/hymns at best ?

Is there a way to hire a minister out of the Grey friars?

Anyone is welcome to contact the church office (see our email at christkirk.com) and share any ministry opportunities for Greyfriars graduates.

Interesting video. However, I have to say I find your connection of the peace offering to the Lord's Supper a bit strange. Jesus offered Himself once and for all as the perfect sacrefice, therefore I feel uneasy if we compare the Lord's Supper to a sacrefice. I would say the central aspects of this sacrement are three: to remember what Christ did on the cross (past aspect), to feed on Christ in a spiritual sense together as God's people (present aspect), to anticipate the great heavenly feast when Christ returns (future aspect).
