Doug’s very good question at 18:43 doesn’t get answered. The combination of the comics’ motivations of the Celestials (experimentation and evolution) and their MCU motivations (world eggs)makes no sense.
Schism between warring factions of eternal? One aside thinks they should chill out for 20 billion years while the other side wants to continue to fuck with the tiny people cause that shits dope.
Easy retcon: As Prime Celestial explained to Circe, deviants were the first children of the celestials and and had the biological capacity to evolve. Mutants are human deviant hybrids or more simply descendants of deviants, hence being born powered. Activation of abilities happens at a level of maturity like puberty. Inhumans are human eternal hybrids which is why their physical bodies have to be programmed and overwritten by external circumstances and why they go into a chrysalis stage.
Wanda was a mutant in Age of Ultron. In Wandavision they showed that she already had powers before being exposed to the stone. He brother is also a mutant in the comics so the stones probably just enhanced their mutant powers.
Ursa Major did not show any of his powers in Black Widow. And Fox only allowed Wanda and Pietro in Age of Ultron under the condition that they're NOT mutants!
@@DragmaWanderer If Marvel reveals that Wanda and Pietro were mutants all along, which means they were mutants in Age of Ultron and so retroactively breaks the deal that allowed them in the MCU in the first place! Yeah, Disney bought Fox and the X-Men are now owned by Marvel Studios, but I don't want a former Fox employee to get mad when Wanda and Pietro turned out to be secretly mutants at a time when Fox explicitly told Marvel they can't be mutants. I didn't like how the kid in the Iron Man mask turned out to be Peter Parker when the MCU wasn't allowed to use him at the time. Retcons of earlier movies when there was some deal involved where the retcon made after the deal was over retroactively breaks the deal, that's very scammy.
It’s crazy that Doug the dog has been dead for like two years. I can’t believe how they keep coming up with unused footage to make these new bits with him. Lovely way to keep his memory alive. Rest in power Doug.
Very entertaining theory! Definitely keep Mr. Pavel T around because he's been giving you guys some of your best stuff lately imo. I say entertaining because that'd be an awesome storyline, but alas I can't say it's a good theory as it seems too unlikely to actually come to pass. All signs are pointing to them just shouting multiverse and then suddenly we get Xavier and team. Same way MCU may never do their own proper Green Goblin, they may just never do Magneto, since his origins would be the hardest to fit into the existing MCU. It seems like most of the mutants will come from the multiverse or will come after a total reboot of the MCU.
You make mutants sound like stand user right now with the "survival of the fittest" idea. You also make Apocalypse sound like a much more interesting twist villain coming out of Kang than Doom, plus you can still introduce Sinister first; that corner of the X-men villains wasn't explored much in the Fox universe it would be only fair to make Sinister and Apocalypse a big deal in the MCU.
The problem with the Celestials evolving mutants to protect the Celestial seed is that was exactly why the Eternals were here. And the Eternals are far easier to control as you can just wipe their memories.
Well in the original ending credit scene in iron man fury talked about how he knew a guy who could swing on webs and a guy with sharp claws made of metal
This is an interesting idea that I wouldn't mind if they tried doing in the actual MCU but realistically and most likely the answer to the bringing over of mutants into the actual MCU would be through the Multiverse.
@15:41 First, this was great, and so are your other speculations. I think you'd do great advising anyone on worldbuilding continuity or doing so yourself. I did notice something at the time mark I added: according to your own theory and information, it can't be the space stone that Apocalypse encountered. You've said he was born 5000 years ago or in 3000BC. If Odin sends the space stone to Earth in 500AD as you say, that's 3500 years too late for him to interact with it! I don't know which stone it was, but if your info is correct and cannon, we know which one it isn't.
Geez! What a great friggin video! Even Greater Theory! I hope that everything in this video comes true onscreen for us all to enjoy! Thx n keep the great videos n theories coming!
Ive been saying it for a while, espexially since the eternals, Apocalypse will be the gateway for the x gene to bloom. But the X gene will need to be syper rare.
Great video & a very interesting theory! Somehow, in the end, I don't think Apocalypse will be the one behind all of the Infinity Beings because it doesn't seem like the MCU writers are that creative. Carol isn't a mutant, she's a mutate. To be officially classified as a mutant, they have to specifically possess the X-gene, which first activates during puberty or times of high stress. If they gain powers through an external source (eg. Gamma radiation, cosmic radiation, radioactive spider bite, super solder serum, etc), they are classified as a mutate. Apocalypse is only "immortal" because he transfers his consciousness into his new host bodies. If they do him right, it doesn't matter how many Infinity Beings there are, they only really need (adult) Franklin Richards to beat ANY threat!!!
There was a news story in one of the projects about a clawed man going crazy so i just assume people know there are a bunch of powered people, and now we'll see them form ORCHIS or whatever to understand what's going on
Love this. I think this would be the best direction for the writers to take the MCU, since all the most popular heroes are dead or retired, it's time to go full force into X men...only problem... WE already have a huge library of great, loved, movies about these stories. I haven't seen these movies, but Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, even the X men as a whole have already been done thoroughly and beautifully. Just, in a vacuum. So with that being said I think they're best play would be to mix X men and other heroes seamlessly, and not make a big deal about mutants. But we need a new lead. Cyclops, Reed Richards, maybe even a Wolverine could be promising. I'm hopeful for Sam's Captain America too but we haven't seen him at all lol. The characters we have right now are increasingly just kid or female versions of established superheroes. Which are fine, but I think we're ready to see alternate universe versions of old favorites, Tom Cruise Iron Man, anyone?
Remember in End Game Rocket says that when Thanos snapped his figures that the stones created a massive cosmic surge throughout the entire planet unlike anything in the universe. This surge could have trigger the mutation for some of the mutants.
I had the idea that with the Stones destroyed, the energy went to people who were touched by one of them, and thus absorbed their energies. Making six people in the Universe into Infinity Beings Carol Danvers Wanda Maximoff Bruce Banner Peter Quill Steven Strange Clint Barton Each of them harnessed the power of an Infinity Stone, and could be seen as a new vessel for cosmic energy, many of them outwardly powerful. Other potential - Loki. Clint is the most controversial option, but the Soul Stone energy might not be ourwardly "powerful"
I had a theory a while ago about why the Mind Stone chose Wanda. Red Skull said the Infinity Stones have a certain wisdom to them, so what if all 6 Stones are connected by their own network and can communicate with one another? Thanos had already obtained the Mind Stone once before it landed in von Strucker's lap, so I'm thinking the Mind Stone was like "this Thanos guy is setting events in motion that will lead to my destruction, I'd better give chaos magic powers to this girl so she can spontaneously create me again" like she did in WandaVision. Or maybe it was more like all the Stones relayed their own experiences to each other and could see their destruction by Thanos coming, followed by the destabilization of the multiverse, and were all like "We'd better choose special people to carry on our powers to fix this mess once we're gone." Idk, theorizing is fun lol. Heck, maybe (since time appears to be cyclical in the MCU) the whole reason there are 6 Stones is because of the original 6 Avengers?? One for each?? That works, right? Hahaha
Wanda had a necklace on in Age of Ultron with a centerpiece with some red liquid in it, i think her father used his magnetic powers to go through that door before Jane Foster did and took some of the Aether and put it in a necklace for his daughter, and that is why all her magics are red colored and why they are Reality affecting.
Maybe the atomized stones are becoming fused with all beings out there meant to be hero's, because there are villains that are mutants too, so Thanos set off this chain reaction by atomizing the stones?
Dear Marvel- No more Dark Pheonix Saga. No more "Jean Grey Dies" because you aren't better than Fox. Also, there are more stories to tell with the X-men than Dark Pheonix Saga.
My personal. Take was, mutants pop up every once and awhile did to a large energy event, giving us the older mutants, but the snap released a ton of radiation. My theory is the snap awoke the xgene in a bunch of people.
I think it would be smart, or at least logical, that they use the ‘snap’ as the jump off for mutants. When Rocket said Thanos using the glove on Earth was like nothing ever seen before in the entire universe. That seems like such an obvious lead into humans mutating.
I have a theory (sorta based on this and other like it y'all've had), that Loki was somehow destined to be the Avatar of the Time Stone. All of these "Infinity Beings'" powers seem to be colors coded to the Stone which awakened those powers. Loki's magic has always glowed green, like the Time Stone. And now, he is the living Temporal Loom taking care of the miriad timelines and Stories.
Got to end and… you guy’s theory seems to be too high because y’all sure are reaching with this. Just when it starts sounding really good you throw in something that doesn’t make sense (like saying because 1+1=2, then 1+2 must equal 4). I thought the writers strike was over.
I like this. I've thought the same (mostly) from the beginning. Stones give superpowers Mutations gives superpowers BOTH give Super-duper-powers Thats why Wanda and the Captain are wildly overpowered.
And don't forget other characters that got their powers right after surviving a death-facing event, like the Hulk or Captain America. Spiderman got bitten by nothing less than a radioactive spider, Dr Strange survived a car accident and Black Widow and Hawkeye had been facing high-risk situations all their lives. It can't be a coincidence. I think you don't even need Apocalypse for this theory, you can tie this directly to the Celestials: they needed to ensure the survival of the human race to feed the Celestial seed because the Eternals were busy fighting with the Deviants, so they set this dormant gene randomly in certain individuals that would activate in the case of a death-facing event, giving them some sort of instant evolution to adapt to the current situation and survive. The higher the danger, the greater the transformation, hence the stronger the powers. In addition, the blip would explain why the number of characters with superpowers has escalated so quickly recently, this was a death-risk event for half of the population.
I always wanted to get all five infinity beings with the Time,Power and Soul stones. I always felt like Wanda was lowkey the reality and mind stone Infinity being in one but you can still properly split them
How the hell are you going to still consider Wanda to be the child of Magneto yet think Kamala is a mutant? Wanda is a mutant in the comics when Kamala was just an Inhuman and when you pick up any comic from the last 5 years (give and take), Kamala is a mutant and Wanda isn’t. Your theories be sounding so good but the. There’s always something you have to throw in that just ruins everything making your arguments invalid. And what do you mean y’all believe the next saga is going to be the mutant saga? Everyone who follows the MCU knows the next saga is going to be called The Mutant Saga! Are you simply saying that y’all believe the MCU was telling the truth when they said the next saga would be The Mutant Saga back before Quantumainia came out? Tell your writers to stop half-assing your scripts. Christmas and New Year season was over a month ago so there shouldn’t be any excuses for lazy work. Seems like this channel is trying to copy the MCU with how their quality has been of late (but just like the MCU, I keep watching hoping that things will go back to how they were in the beginning). And when are you going to teach Doug how to shake so you don’t have to force him to high five you? 😆
Apocalypse? Well, you're right. I was NOT expecting that. Considering most of my interactions with him have been through the PS2/Game Cube X-Men games, I would love to see him in the MCU. But I don't know if Marvel will want to risk including him so early after the previous failed attempt from FOX 8 years ago.
I’d love to think that every infinity being was who they were in marvel comics in another universe and the only reason they got powers in the MCU is because the infinity stones are trying to reset back to that. So when were “all together” all OP characters are powered down.

I had made a whole saga about this universe that had both Marvel and DC character within the universe plus my own unique characters and one of the storylines revolved around the Infinity Stones and how they had gifted their abilities to six individuals millennium ago and have been passed down throughout the generations within each individuals family and I named them Infinity Angels but Infinity beings has such a cool and nice ring to it
Doug’s very good question at 18:43 doesn’t get answered.
First MCU mutant is *technically* Ursa Major from Black Widow.
Wanda was a mutant in Age of Ultron.
In Wandavision they showed that she already had powers before being exposed to the stone.
He brother is also a mutant in the comics so the stones probably just enhanced their mutant powers.
The 🐻
Ursa Major did not show any of his powers in Black Widow. And Fox only allowed Wanda and Pietro in Age of Ultron under the condition that they're NOT mutants!
We can all smell the retcons@@SeanWheeler100
This is one of my favorite videos of yours for this year so far👍
You make mutants sound like stand user right now with the "survival of the fittest" idea. You also make Apocalypse sound like a much more interesting twist villain coming out of Kang than Doom, plus you can still introduce Sinister first; that corner of the X-men villains wasn't explored much in the Fox universe it would be only fair to make Sinister and Apocalypse a big deal in the MCU.
THANKS, Doug and Ryan!!!! Ready for the X-Folks!!!!
Hey Ryan and Screen Crush Crew love the daily vids no matter what they about…gives me something to look forward to everyday!
I like people given powers by the infinity stones being called Infinity Beings.... even better lets call them STONERS 😂
lol u forgot Spider Man was always a mutant too...
Please live action XMen-SpiderMan! That was my favorite crossover as a kid.
This is an interesting idea that I wouldn't mind if they tried doing in the actual MCU but realistically and most likely the answer to the bringing over of mutants into the actual MCU would be through the Multiverse.
I keep hearing "Infinity Beans".
Still could be Eriks children if the Sokovian couple were given them to watch over, by a certain wanted individual trying to keep them safe
Apocalypse is not the first mutant. Selene is one of the first mutants. There were even older ones.
I really like your wel thought out theories. Keep up the good work
I always gets goosebumbs when I hear the X-Men Intro!!!
Pretty badass take, Ryan!
I really enjoyed this video so well written with great Doug interaction! This a video that brings me back.
There was a news story in one of the projects about a clawed man going crazy so i just assume people know there are a bunch of powered people, and now we'll see them form ORCHIS or whatever to understand what's going on
Yeah in she-hulk.
Love this! Thanks guys.
First mutant in MCU was in Black Panther. Namor is a Mutant
Paper journal is the way to go tbh
Shout out to ScreenCrush for trying soo hard to save the MCU himself 😂😂
Great ideas. Agents of shield wanted a similar idea or clarification
Definitely the better theories require no retconning, and this *is* one of them. :) Well done.
Ahhhh this is why I love this channel
I have my own saga planned for the MCU surrounding the Phoenix Force. This was a really great explanation
Remember in End Game Rocket says that when Thanos snapped his figures that the stones created a massive cosmic surge throughout the entire planet unlike anything in the universe. This surge could have trigger the mutation for some of the mutants.
Screen Crush: How often will you use the Xmen Theme?
Editing Team: YES!!!!
May I recommend infinity stoners for these people?
Omg!!! I swear I was thinking something along these lines!! And it all makes sense! I hope this is the route they go
I recommend journaling...it helps..
I had the idea that with the Stones destroyed, the energy went to people who were touched by one of them, and thus absorbed their energies. Making six people in the Universe into Infinity Beings
Carol Danvers
Wanda Maximoff
Bruce Banner
Peter Quill
Steven Strange
Clint Barton
Each of them harnessed the power of an Infinity Stone, and could be seen as a new vessel for cosmic energy, many of them outwardly powerful.
Other potential - Loki.
Clint is the most controversial option, but the Soul Stone energy might not be ourwardly "powerful"
Great video very logical and sound based on Feige logic “KEVIN”
You guys are dope Ryan
Holy hell. You are a smart guy! I love it!
Hahaha
I Hope The Mutants Have Always Been In The Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Thanks for the video.
Loki used both the Space & Mind stones when he used The Tesssract & The Scepter I know Loki isn’t Human but he can be a Infinity Being as well.
Let's hear this theory Ryan and Doug!!!! ❤😂
Maybe the atomized stones are becoming fused with all beings out there meant to be hero's, because there are villains that are mutants too, so Thanos set off this chain reaction by atomizing the stones?
That was awesome!
Dear Marvel- No more Dark Pheonix Saga. No more "Jean Grey Dies" because you aren't better than Fox. Also, there are more stories to tell with the X-men than Dark Pheonix Saga.
can you revisit this ultron vs mutants evolution topic after deadpool wolverine
I've said it before and I'll say it again Doug is adorable and I hope he gets to meet Lou The Chichi sometime.
Stones give superpowers
Mutations gives superpowers
BOTH give Super-duper-powers
Thats why Wanda and the Captain are wildly overpowered.
IMAGINE if MT and the SC team teamed up on an MCU theory??? Oh boy- our minds would explode
You guys should do a breakdown on I am number four. I think it's an underrated movie.
You’ve definitely done this video before,,,,,,,,,
How on earth(616) do you come up with these ideas?!
This is one of the best theories I've heard on the order of the MCU
"baby arms" I'm dying 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love this take
I always wanted to get all five infinity beings with the Time,Power and Soul stones. I always felt like Wanda was lowkey the reality and mind stone Infinity being in one but you can still properly split them
I wish they had an anthology show introducing all the characters and their back stories.
Super cool theory!!!
This feels like a good way to improve the MCU!
So…easily put, the stones unlock certain individuals x gene
I really enjoy your cell thoughout theories
Nice theory, but too complex for movie goers.
