Okay that film take clipboard thingy at the start is pure gold hahah 🤣🤩 We've got quite a bit of overlap in our series reading plans for the upcoming year, fingers crossed they all live up to your expectations. Especially excited to get back to Witchlands after all this time! And give yourself some grace! You've built a lovely little community here and consistently produce amazing content that brings so many people joy. No chase the algorithm and push yourself beyond your boundaries, we love you just as you are ;))) This is all supposed to just be fun after all 🥰
To target both your video and TBR goals, why not a TBR Battle of Time series (or similar). Where you order your physical TBR based on when it was added to your shelves. Then in each video you read the earliest and the latest - or go inwards to the next if you can’t read that one for any reason (eg it’s not the next in the series). The two books battle to see which one you preferred, and at the end of the series you decide if past you or current you picked better books based on how many each won.
i also love watching shelve it or scrap it and similar videos. don’t know why, but it’s a lot of fun. definitely a yes to watching your version of it! i would like to read more of my book box subscription books in 2025. i’d like to evaluate whether it’s worth continuing with the subscriptions. my brain knows that ‘ooh, pretty! shiny!’ does not make the reading experience of the content better. i can just as well enjoy reading the ebook, the regular print edition, sometimes the audiobook. and yet.. here i am a year later and still haven’t canceled any of them. new plan, as i can’t seem to get myself to press the cancel button, is to do a bit of research and utilize the skip-a-month and thereby end the subscriptions by running out of skips. yea, i’m just fooling myself. probably. 😂
Love your videos, Abby. You are one of my favourite booktubers. I always find your videos interesting and fun!! My goals for 2025 are to binge more series and finish more series...which is kind of the same thing. And I want to read more by my favourite authors. Happy 2025 reading 📚 💖
I recently recieved The Enigma of Room 622, hopefully we both like it. Ooh doing your own version of read it or unhaul it will be so fun! Those videos are great to watch
The problem with lowering your TBR is that as a fantasy reader most books aren’t just one book, you have to buy the next one and read that so it takes ages to remove the series from your TBR
❤📚👍❤️ This was such a great video. Yes, to a "read my bookshelf" challenge. I love watching them. I need that motivation, too. 2025 is a reading series, start to finish, for me.
I learnt a lot about what kind of fantasy reads I enjoy from your channel! I am also wondering about KA Tucker, a whole bunch of her books landed in my local book store. I haven't finished any series in the last year 😂. Update, I just bought books 3 and 4 of a fate of wrath and flame. Books 1 and 2 are sold out. She is a hit in Malaysia! 😅
Rainy from the channel Rainy Blue Reads has created a bingo board for continuing/finishing series. My ambitious plans are to black out on it, so that means finishing 16 series. I've also been wanting to read The Enigma of Room 622 in French, but to me as well it feels intimidating as French isn't my first language either. How would you feel about buddy reading it to help with motivation?
hi!! really love this videao!! it always inspires to put some books in priority ! and i would love 'read the TBR' video. i also relate to finding time to do certain things when you have a full-time job, not always easy! my main goal in 2024 was to get into reading again (an have less screentime) which i did succeed in , i read 61 books! my goal for 2025 is to continue that trend (i set the goal at 40). i only have 2 big series (series with more than 5 books or just very chunky books) which is the expanse series by james SA corey (9 books) and women of the otherworld series by kelley armstrong (13 books). the series i would love to finish : the plated prisoner series by raven kennedy and regency faerie tales by olivia atwater. the books/series i would lov to start and finish : the emily wilde series by emily fawcett, first law trilogy by joe abercrombie, babel by RF kuang. i would love to pickup a bit more scifi and easy cozy/romantasy fantasy books. i do not tend to plan out more than the next 2-3 books because i tend to pick up based on my mood. good luck on your 2025 reading journey!

Yes, to a reduce your TBR challenge.... I need inspiration to do the same 😊

I also really want to get to the city of dusk this year, I didn't realise it was concluding this year so that's great
Love watching this kind of content 💜

Yes I love the reducing tbr video series. I would loved to see you have a go at it 😊
I would wait to read the sunlit man until after wind and truth because it takes place afterwards

Are you fluent in French? That's very impressive.
