Just ordered these exact fenders for my Jeep and spent 2 days about 11 hours each day to get them fully installed. The rivets were complete trash! I ended up going with a 10mm hex bolt, a couple 25mm in length and others were 35mm. Straight bolted them into the body holes and used Lockett bolt freeze on them. They are on and I pulled on them and jerked them an they don’t budge. Needless to say they look awesome but god forbid I have to take them off for any reason I’ll probably spend 2 whole days getting them off!!!!
My spirit animal. Installing these today because I looked at the “tool” they give you and said screw that so got thread rivet tool and will probably be a pain in the ass for me too haha enjoyed the video and some insight
Does it say in the instructions to use washers or did it not come with all the correct parts to use? That looks as if they don't fit right and the fact you can see the body and had to paint it. That looks as there is a flaw in the product. They look ok but I am not completely sold. However good video and thanks for the tips.
I'd say it wasn't a perfect fit, but for the price I can't complain. Ive bought Bushwhacker fenders that fit a LOT worse and had to use tek screws to install them so they didn't have a gap. And Bushwacker is a pretty big name in fenders and they kinda sucked. Also faded really bad and they claim they don't fade. So all that said, I think these were a win and turned out well in the end.

I don't know how you managed to get the rears on but God bless you. They are a bear to put on but do look good. Thanks for watching
The one thing I've found with any upgrade I do n my Jeep, is to take the proposed time to do and times three:). But thanks for the share.
Thanks for watching

Nice job 👍
Thanks!
What’s the name of the tool to order?
What size rivets did you use?
I honestly can’t remember. They’re threaded rivnut inserts so buy the size for the bolts that come with the set
What kind of paint did you use?
The Black paint is just bed liner paint
