Skill wise it was better too. Matt is a jazz bassist before TBS. Fred pretty much wrote all the 2nd and 3rd album songs. Eddie is a great rhythm guitarist. Lastly, Mark makes the music heavy.

You're comparing a studio recorded take that was recorded multiple times until just right to a live performance which was probably pretty close to the release of this song releasing so they didn't play it as much. He pulls it out a few times and has a brace of some sort on it. You can tell he forgets it's out of his pocket and quickly puts it back in to hide the brace for some reason.

And he also writes a lot of his songs on guitar by himself ...he didn’t use his voice properly . That’s why he can’t hit notes anymore live because he strained and ruined his voice from untrained screaming around the first and 2nd album
