Was gonna comment same thing actually. I make good money and still don’t spend $200 on a shirt. It’s nice but agree some other brands n stores would be nice. But I like the hauls
since you’ve done so many hauls this year, I think we would love to see “shop my closet” and style outfits with pieces you already have!
I personally am not a big revolve girly just due to the prices alone. I love seeing the items you get and how you style them, but I would love to see some other stores/brands you love!🫶🏼

omg thank you for opening up this convo about Revolve hauls. Tbh, when an influencer goes from a "regular" person showing things they truly love and invest their own money in, to a wealthy person showing things they get for free, they lose all of their influence to me.
So as a middle class person, Revolve is not it for most things. Maybe a special occasion or the odd investment piece. But when any influencer does constant hauls of free clothes from there it feels really not genuine and most importantly NOT influential

I’m really glad you brought up this revolve issue! Every haul I’ve seen in the last 6 months on UA-cam has been revolve and I get that they do have tons of brands but the majority are quite pricey! It might be nice to mix in an Amazon haul or something more affordable.

I totally get what you're saying about the revolve stuff!! I agree with you that it seems REVOLVE is literally everywhere and I often don't see hauls from other stores anymore
i like seeing grocery hauls because they are consumables and they won’t just sit in a closet. it would be nice to see more affordable options if you do keep doing revolve hauls like everything under $75 or something

maggie, any time you encounter a stalker situation like that again, don’t be afraid to let them know you see them! say something like “hey, I see you!!” or literally take a picture with flash to let them know you see them. 9/10 it scares them away. this is a PSA to everyone. y’all stay safe 🤍
Sometimes, you can let the store employees know what you've seen and how you feel. Most of the time they have situations that they have planned for and they can help. Or at least help stall you and the other employees can check him out.
What I love about Outdoor Voices most is their ethics and sustainability! That snap up sweatshirt you have is actually 63% recycled materials! So cool. I'd say that's a brand to stand behind. And my thoughts on hauls, well, to do less. Try doing more re wearing outfits and using what you have, honestly that's not what you seem to be into, but since you're asking, I'd like that.

Yes would love to see hauls from diff places incorporated into videos. Loved this outdoor voices one!! And honestly I skip any video that’s just a haul by itself, and skip revolve hauls if they’re included in videos (from any influencer at this point) bc it’s just so overdone and overpriced. Yes, you can pop the lenses out! I actually did that for mine because my frames were so expensive. Make sure you take them to a place like an eye doctor or a glasses store so they can do it for you and make sure the new blue light frames fit!

Revolve is a great platform with a lot of variety but in this economy those prices are really difficult to stomach! I feel like there are great dupes and alternatives to a lot of items, and I'm not sure if the appeal is the luxury or if it's the streamlined website itself. I really appreciate it when people shop local or have curated individual pieces that they love directly from individual brands, would love to see stuff like that!

One thing I really appreciate about Maggie is how genuine she is. She is actually so genuine. She cares about how her viewers feel; she doesn't post without intent and that just shows how much she cares. Honestly, most youtubers would have simply complained about a stranger stalking them which is fine, but Maggie goes further and emphasizes how she wants her viewers to also be aware of their surroundings. Just wanted to say that's one of the reasons why I watch you! Thank you for being thoughtful and a beautiful person.
That’s scary what happened to you in the store! I had something similar happen to me, so I got some mace to put on my keychain. As women, we have to be extra careful when we’re out alone. So glad you are okay! ❤

I’m so glad you addressed the revolve thing!!! I would love to see you do clothing hauls from brands that are good quality (in your opinion) but yet somewhat affordable? Revolve has unrealistic prices for most people, so the hauls are great to look at, but for most people like myself it’s like “I wish I could get that” 😂 instead of “yep adding to cart right now”. Hopefully that makes sense. Btw ily hehe
Oh, great point with being super aware and vigilant when out and about not on your phones!! It’s SO important to know your surroundings. I hope you locked your car doors once you got in your car! I think you can definitely get blue light instead of your normal prescription! I had to up my prescription and they were able to take my same frames I love and I didn’t have to buy new frames!🤍

I love that you opened the floor to this revolve question because I've felt like this for soooo long, I'm almost bored of the revolve content (not from you but from everyone as a whole) just because everyone's style can seem so similar when shopping from the same place. I’d get the rings, they’re stunning and timeless!! And gorgeous for everyday. There’s 18k dupes for the Tiffany Hardwear collection at all gold stores, and they aren’t worth the splurge especially for what they are (weight in gold)! Also for how often you’d be able to wear them without getting sick of them given the statement, and kinda died out!!

I love your lifestyle content. As for hauls, I usually skip them because of the threat of overconsumption. like you said about the makeup you wanted to get just cause you saw it. Or I’d like to see any brand that is seeking a positive environmental impact

I love revolve don’t get me wrong but since I know influencers get commission when their links are used as a revolve ambassador it’s hard to tell if the influencers actually like the clothes they’re buying aso I would love to see different store incorporated as well!:)

you can definitely get lenses with no prescription and blue-light filter to fill those frames at my practice! every office is different and has different policies with used frames, but it wouldn't hurt to ask🥰
I would get the rings! Rings are an everyday piece where you won’t wear the earrings as much! I’m also obsessed with all of my mejuri pieces ✨
I worked at an eye doctors office for a lot of years and you can take your glasses to any office and ask them to put in blue light lenses for you 🙂
Thank you sooo much for addressing revolve! Every influencer posts the same clothes/hauls and while I love watching styling videos and hauls, revolve hauls are simply just unattainable for most people that aren’t influencers/ get revolve credit :/ I usually skip all revolve hauls for this reason now. Plus many influencers will justify the pricey price tag with the good quality of revolve clothes (which I don’t doubt the quality is good) but it’s easy to say it’s “worth hundreds of dollars for 1 top” when you’re getting it for free every week 😅 Would love to see more zara or more affordable brands in hauls ❤ thank you for asking for feedback from your audience it does not go unnoticed!!!
Love this Maggie! I think you should be able to have the lenses changed for blue light! :) As far as hauls, I think obviously there are times when you need to do them for sponsorships, but generally I prefer you just showing us things you picked up & loved from various places versus long ones from one place. Maybe try to integrate small business/BIPOC business hauls!
Yes, you can re-use the frame, if you need new prescription or if you want to add transition and/or blue light protection. However, you would have to change the actual lenses, the glass part, and add the blue light option to those new ones.

Yes you are able to get blue light lenses put into your frames! I usually just bring mine to an optical and tell them I want to keep the frames but get new lenses, they’ll pop the old ones out and put new ones in!
Usually only see revolve hauls as inspo.. too much $$ per item for the everyday person. Need more amazon hauls, collective hauls, Zara, H&M, white fox, etc.. 💗💗 and obviously more yt vids!! 🤎✨

I am a fan of Revolve hauls but would also love see some focus on more sustainable brands from influencers. It would be great to learn about brands that promote sustainability and good values more than mass production from influencers since we are all so influenced all the time.
The feet peels are so amazing. Don’t let the pics turn you off. Once they start peeling use an exfoliate to scrub it off and it’s next level. You are gonna love it🫶🫶❤️

Yes, you sure can replace your lenses it’s one of the reasons the frames or at least good ones are pricey because you sure can mix it up. I totally recommend you doing that. I did the same with my Chanel frames easy peasy, lol😉😉. I can’t wait to hear about lasik interested in it myself and wanna know the real deal about it. Like the pain factor and how quick is the recovery👍💯🫶
please please be careful even it it’s broad daylight and people are around. I know of a woman who was kidnapped at 12pm in a parking lot and was driven around by the kidnapper all day brought around in public and nobody noticed she was in danger. people are evil and it’s scary !!
The only people I’ve seen get things from revolve are influencers (UA-camrs included) and girls who have been on the bachelor. Majority of working class people can’t afford it.

I actually do like the revolve hauls in your vlogs cause every once in awhile I will splurge on something from the site but I think you should add in other brands - Aritzia, Amazon, Brandy Melville etc. 😊
You can definitely change your lenses to blue light just know that going to a different place for the lenses they won’t be responsible if they damage your frames doing so since it’s not from their place so it’s safer to go to the initial place you got them from to switch the lens. Most glasses companies offer blue light lenses so I’m sure the place you got them from will have that option!
Hi Maggie! You can def get other lenses put into frames, and it’s super affordable. I definitely recommend holding onto a pair or two of glasses because i know a lot of people who have needed a pair of reading glasses post-lasik

I got LASIK done too and that’s what I did with my prescription glasses🥰 so worth it! I use them a lot while on the computer, mostly because your eyes will feel dry for a while after the surgery!
Maggie! I think we all agree that revolve is too much. A lot of us can’t spend thousands of dollars on new clothes so I’d love to see fall clothes from brands like tigermist, whitefox boutique, princess polly, etc… things that are good material but still affordable to change up our fall outfits!! You can def get your lenses as blue light only- your eye doctor can likely do that for you, especially if you’re getting lasik. And the skin tint is great but if you are interested in trying a product sephora gives out little samples (I literally got the skin tint you brought up as a sample) so you can try it for a few days/a week before you commit :)
Back on the revolve thing, I remember when you brought this up maybe earlier in the summer and I suggested you pick things that you feel flatter your body- like not necessarily trendy pieces but the things you reach for time and time again that make you feel good and confident. Not sure if you saw the woman on tiktok looking for the perfect white tank… it was a hit bc people are looking. for things like that. You’re so honest that people would trust your opinion and you can focus your collection on things like that.

Any frame can get new lenses! They just pop them out and put in new prescription, blue light, etc…
I have the worst vision and for as long as i can remember i would get a new prescription with the frames i loved.

I love that you’re asking for feedback about Revolve. Personally, I am not a fan of the revolve hauls. Revolve is SO overpriced for the quality IMO and doesn’t feel like the most sustainable brand. It would be cool if your hauls focused more on small designers or brands and spotlighted smaller designers who might not have the audience/distribution of revolve
Also, it would be cool to see less consumerist hobbies like cooking! You seem like a great cook and I have fun watching you and Graydon cook your weds. Dinners

The revolve hauls are good for inspo but I could never afford most of the pieces with my college budget
I apply that gradual tanning lotion with a mit! It wastes a little bit of product but the application is seamless!

What would be really cool with the revolve hauls is if you could find some dupes or more affordable pieces that are similar to what you get on revolve I know that is probably tedious but it would be really helpful because then if we like what you style from revolve we can still afford something similar
