With a touch of arthritis in the thumb I needed something like this. The Peutier ones come in a pack of 36, 18 round & 18 that cover most of the pick. I put both on, the small round one in the corner where the thumb goes & the big one for the finger(s). I got used to them very quickly. They prevent plectrum noise too. I now use a lighter pick than I used to. I wonder whether Gorilla Snot might be a nuisance when you do a fingerpicking number.
if you have issues with holding your picks you should definitely try these! i gave them a try about two years ago and now I cant go without them!!!! Yes they really work and I havent found a better solution yet!
I was using the Snarling Dog's "Brain" grip picks but something about the grip picks is they were always flipping out of my fingers and into the sound hole. I felt bad shaking the crap out my guitar like a bad child I went back to Fender Pearloids and haven't lost one since... weird
I always had the pick spinning in my finger problem. Like a golf grip, you need loose relaxed but gotta hold on. Guitar picks need the same light tight feel. Especially tremolo picking. So I go online and find this stuff has been around in cork for 50 years. I'm getting some of these. Monsters.
Hey Tony! Yes...been using monster grips for a few months now. They are great. One word of advice for anyone new to them. Only put them on one side of your pick. Works better that way.
44scoots if you put a grip on both sides it's difficult to adjust the position of the puck when you're playing. With one, you get the improved grip etc but can tweak position.
Anyone who has tried Monster grips should try the newer LivinWell Guitar PIck Grips on Amazon. They are bigger, have a better grip surface, much more durable and even reusable, making them less expensive per pick. Many people who have ailments like carpal tunnel, arthritis, hand injury or very dry or very sweaty fingers have found what they have been looking for to regain their pick control. Anyone can play better with these on their picks.
Cheap Chinese knock-off. Didn't like them. Not sure why they tried to copy monster grips. LOL... it's a sticker... peel it off and reuse it. I've reused monster grips as well.
I bought some. Don't like them. It's an annoying lump on both sides of the pick. If the whole pick had the grip surface, that would be far better (with no need for the grip material at the tip of the pick that comes in contact with the string).
Krusty Buzzard Well, Happy 50th Anniversary of guitar-slinging awesomeness. We guarantee our product and are here to help, so never a need to worry. Here’s to the next 50 years of frustration free playing. ;-)
I have never had a real problem holding onto picks. I will occasionally drop one or have one spin on me, but that's normal for anyone, I suspect. I like the Dava picks for their grip and versatility. Throughout my years of playing the picks have gotten smaller and thicker. Dunlop Jazz III's are pretty good too, but I prefer the Dava. I play acoustic exclusively, and like the tones I get from these picks. I refuse to pay $40 for a Blue Chip. Maybe I'm missing out, but I have written, recorded and played a crap load of shows with these cheap picks. Lol
I carry a TD 50, and have several of them in my case, and have never had any of them slip on me. This was one of their big selling points, that they seem slick, but do not slip, and it has held true for me. I just have no need for any other attachments to hold onto my pick properly. All other I have used over the past 40 years, have all slipped while playing, except fort the Blue Chip pick.
44scoots Much appreciated! We are here to help. A huge thanks to Tony for this video as it completely caught us by surprise, and I absolutely love his creative idea of tossing it in coffee! LOL.
What i like about Monster Pics is that i can still use my pics that I'm so used to, and i don't have to worry about the change of feel.

I use 1” rubber washers. They can rotate all day no problem. They also sound amazing and the center hole makes it easier to hold
I drill small holes in my picks, scrape them up with a file or blade, and/or use a thin film of silicone bathtub caulking.

Just heat a screwdriver to molten level and push it slowly through the wide area...or wherever. Perfect hole, perfect grip.

Monster Grips are out of stock everywhere lately. Anything as good or better available anywhere nowadays at a reasonable price?
I heard it's because the owner of the company had some stuff going on. I think a death in the family. So he had to shut down the company
@@PedroParkerD Sorry to learn that. They were very nice.
Do they stay on your finger? I haven't seen any examples in the video.
Could you give me some advice on how to make an upstroke, iv tried everything. Just can't get it. Thanks

Phil Tapsell Hi Phil! Thank you for being a customer and helping others out!
How do they work better??? Just curious.

🚩Bless U Tony!! Going Nuts tryin to solve that Problem, or just looking for Good picks. Hey, I'll try Anything
Do these go on both sides or just one?
Hey Tony. Ever tried Thalia wood picks. They sound great. Give them a go.
But what about the splinters? Or is that how they stay in place so well?
Don't like the sound at all of the wood picks I've tried (not Thalia).

Cheaper alternative: skateboard griptape. Gotta say that guy duct taping the pick to his hand made me lol.
A pen's grip n a super glue ..
The benefits of our extremely soft silicone are far superior. Please give us a try absolutely risk free.
Dunlop Max-Grip and Dunlop Prime Tone both have built-in grips that are perfect
Oh, man.... I was watching this for 20 seconds before I realized it wasn't an ad.....
I just use a single paper punch on what ever pick I am using that day. The pick stays put and you can use it on every thickness.
Not to be picky but so do I. Just warm them up a bit.
A video needs to be done to show a beginner how to correctly hold a pick.
🚩 PLEASE, TELL What type of Picks You Use!!
Just put skate grip on it
I only use Blue Chip picks, and they never move on me.
pickin4you I carry a Blue Chip TD45 in my pocket every day...with a Monster Grip on it of course. :-)

@@pickin4you For $50 US it should do something beside just pick strings LOL.
@@alan4sure Real tortoise picks cost more than the Blue Chip picks.

Probably costs pennies to manufacture a tiny sheet of this stuff. Way overpriced.
Monster grips suck..
I've even tried Blue chip pick. Hated it..I never had an issue until I started playing bluegrass
This video is totally unrealistic. Who has change in their pocket these days?.....
Now that's funny! Touché!
GuitarMoose picks are worth checking out, they give free samples!
