Those would be the cables for the brakes and gears. The camera was mounted to the handlebars with a camera mount that tightens around them with a cable tie type mechanism, and has a ball joint and tripod screw attached. It's actually not a very good mount, when I had the camera above it, it rolled backwards or forwards as the bike vibrated. When I made this video the camera was in the down position (dangling) and the rotatable lens was rotated 180 degrees to keep the image right side up.
