FAIR Construction Site Time Lapse - Longterm Dronelapse

- In Darmstadt one of the largest research projects in the world is located: FAIR, the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research. Since the groundbreaking for the particle accelerator facility in July 2017 a lot has happened. This time lapse video was shot with a new filming technique: Longterm Dronelapse. Several time lapse drone videos have been super-imposed and show the progress of the construction site of one year. More information: www.universe-in-the-lab.org #UniverseInTheLab

Fantastic job, I like the final effect of the video!
Thank you very much!
This is sick. How did you do it
Extremely well done documentary! May I ask you, what is the name of this animated calendar effect at the bottom of the screen (moving month scale)? Thank you
Thank you so much! The effect is no preset. The text and graph layers were animated manually. We hope this helps for your project!
Excellent video! I would like to shoot a time lapse video from a construction site over a period of 3 weeks. Is there a way to program a DJI mini 3 Pro in such a way, that it flies to the very same location several times a day ?
Waypoints and POI are supposed to do that, but I found they don't work too well and may vary too much. I am going to just position the subject in the frame myself and record from there. Good luck.
Hi. I love this video. I tried to make similar transitions of a construction project i am working one but i found it very difficult to align video at the transitions. Could you let me know what tool and how have you managed to achieve such perfect alignment at the transitions?
Where you able to achieve it
@Henry van Wagenberg Thanks heaps I've sent an email
it can be achieved by using DJI ground station app, you need to plan the route and height and drone will autonomously shoot in that path. saved the flight path and then use it again and again monthly interval.
We always flew the same programmed routes with a drone and then superimposed the scenes in Adobe After Effects. A bit of scaling, rotation, animating the positioning, blending with animated masks and then stirring the keyframes again - that's it!
@@FAIRGSI I know with the Mavic 3 you can save waypoints to be use at a later time to get this effect.
Great job! where did you find the calendar/timeline plugin? (bottom of screen)

What drone did you use?
@@VPAS It's a DJI Phantom 4 Pro
Hi! Great video - what model drone did you use?
Thank you! We use a DJI Phantom 4 Pro.
Are these a series of videos that are speed up or the actual hyper lapse feature?
We always flew the same programmed routes and then superimposed the scenes in Adobe After Effects.
Nice jobbb.. what drone do you use?
Thank you! It's a DJI Phantom 4 Pro.
Can I ask you for the back sound .. What is the name of the track?
The track is called Daydreamer von Olive Musique (Premiumbeat)

How did you do the cross fade effect? (32 second mark) Thank you
