Thanks mate 👍 I did but I wasn’t really happy with the textured style paints in the past when I did the bullbar on my patrol. I decided to stick to a flatter finish this time. Also wanted a bit of gloss to match my paint too which I don’t think raptor have
Well done mate looks great! The up side to paint is you can touch up the bush scratches, once you scratch the vinyl it’s not really easy to repair. Also you can change to black if you like. I like how you have a go!
I’m in 2 minds about that. Don’t want to come across as pretentious with to much sign writing. But I think the logo and some designs around it would be cool. What do you think?
@ Logos are old school-just use text (think DHL, Netflix). Add your UA-cam channel name + QR code for instant access. Magnetic signage’s an option, but might not stick on an aluminum tray. Throw in some retro stickers. Given the build done, when are the trip videos dropping?
Good job, I looked at doing this but got put off by people telling me paint on aluminium is a bad idea, doesn’t stick well, easily falls off etc. Apparently aluminium needs to be prepped, special undercoat, bla. Bla bla…. So did you get told this at all? I’m about ready to head off to Bunnings!
I just did it and didn’t really ask anyone haha. I just took it up around cape tribulation and did some wheeling around the bush and it didn’t chip or scratch against the bushes
@ Interesting regarding the paint performance on your trip. Yours looks great, painting the back really lifted the look of your truck. Too much alloy on the back, doesn’t look balanced. I’ve got the same truck in the same colour so seeing yours, mines a must
Cheers bro. Great info & insight into your thought process. Sweet job
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback. I think it turned out pretty good. Might have to chuck some writing on it 👍
hi I was in your year 6 class today with the long tiggy and that

Thanks mate! I really like how it’s coming together. Every week bit by bit
Looks great mate. The rig is coming together nicely. Did you consider raptor paint?

Great job. Looks good 👍
Thanks 👍 I think so too. Didn’t turn out too bad
True Mark, you can toutch it up and after 4wd trips will look not much different to expensive Powdercoat ones.
Very true Richard. Thanks for watching as always 👍
When is the next camping video Mr north oz 🤷♂
Next week 🤙 Did a trip up to cape trib and around Wujal Wujal. It’s going to be sick!

Thanks Brett 👍 Greatly appreciated. Absolutely right. If it gets any blemishes I’ll just touch it up 👍
Nice one mate
Thanks mate 👍
Looks awesome. Now you need some signage onit for your channel?
