System 7 only runs on Motorola 68xxx Apple Powerbooks that were dark grey. Intel Macbooks need an emulator to use System 7, and PowerPC PowerBooks (and IBooks) can only use System 9. So using system 7 on a black DS is more legit.

I hope those capable put more work into MacOS on Wii. If it was easy to install and worked smoothly, that would be a blessing for those who wish to relive the classic Mac era, with full CD ROM support, and component video out for a clean picture on a CRT. The 90s Mac capacitors are not holding up well so original hardware is becoming scarce. Personally my experience with web emulators or using virtual machines and emulators on M1 Mac, I encounter too much input delay with the mouse cursor. So using the newest available and mass produced PowerPC devices would be a dream come true.
I second this so much! Also, couldn't the Wii U also be used for the same purpose? Considering it's also a PowerPC system (a beefed up Wii, after all)? It even has a Radeon GPU (plus, HDMI out!), and ATI graphics cards were no strangers to classic Macs... I've been using emulators (Basilisk/SheepShaver/QEMU), but as you've said, it's not the same as running natively. Having and old Wii or Wii U as a Macintosh machine would really address the issues you mention, hopefully someone can make it happen!
@@So1 It's made, it just isn't very useable, that's why I said I wish there was someone capable that could put more work into it. It is very difficult for even a high level tinkerer to setup and when you do finally get it setup, it has tons of issues running. MJD has a video of it.
Mini vMac works well on Android too. Some games are pretty playable. As for System 7.5, it boots but runs sloooow on real compact Mac hardware. The latest usable version is likely to be 7.0.1, which is the sweet spot on a 68k Classic II.
you need to calibrate the bottom screen digitizer. it can be done in the default OS menu before entering a game on the DS, but I'm not sure that calibration is caried over into Mac OS

It is so much easier to perform the same or similar operations on multiple files via for or while loops on the command line than mouse clicking through the GUI. Even doing something like changing file permissions on a single file is much more straightforward from the command line.

I notice the small hinge is cracked on that Crimson and Black DS Lite, I don't know what it is about that color but it seems like every single one of those in that color the hinge is broke.
I don't know if that was ever asked before but did you upload the bliss photo somewhere? I always found that photo with the vineyards really beautiful but couldn't find it anywhere, only found the original Bliss or the 3D render nightmare made by Microsoft

Which I would not mind, I actually like command-line stuff, it’s very interesting. Helps you interact with your computer on a deeper level.

I don't think the "hitbox" is off on the bottom screen, it's probably the DS's touchscreen that's old and the accuracy is all over the place.
