Had a brilliant weekend, was asked if we could just be on a stand to show people how brilliant my transit is, now got a video maker wishes to come and do a video in November, so happy
I've had my Corsa Limited Edition for over a year, read through multiple manuals for slightly different models and watched half a dozen videos of where to Not Find It, and STILL never found the bastard port until this video. My sanity thanks you! 😅
Hi thanks for the vid. I’m having a slight issue with mine because it seems to stay as extern in even after removing the connection and so how I have no sound and my radio doesn’t work neither to any of the channels. Do you know how to solve this please.
Do you turn-over the cars you have every now and again? I'm currently not driving mine, and turn it on for about 15 minutes about twice a month to stop the engine seizing - would you agree this is the sensible thing to do?
Yes. It’s sensible to run the car periodically (although it typically takes some time for an engine to seize). If possible, it's also worth moving the car even if it’s only a few feet on your driveway. This minimises the risk of flat spotting the tyres, cleans the brake discs, etc.
there is usually a button on left hand side of steering wheel like a trolley sign, press that and usually goes from aux and back to your normal radio station you had it on and vice versa , might be easier.
Wouldn't Bluetooth do this? Surely if you can make and recieve phonecalls via Bluetooth then you can play tunes i have a corsa excite 2014 only relly play radio but i am surprised to learn id need to use the auxiliary socket to play tunes off my phone
A 12V power socket can be added to cars, but I haven't given much thought to the best method for a Corsa D. However, among other things, I'd probably connect the socket to a fuse that's only live when the ignition's on.
@CarSpyTV I've read that the Bluetooth only connect the phone for calls and not music. Is that true? I did by a rear wire harness with a Bluetooth adapter fitted from eBay for 12.99 which has now given my 30CD Bluetooth music.
I assume your phone only has a Type C connector? If so, a Type C to 3.5mm adapter might help. Or, connect the phone to the car via Bluetooth. Here's a Corsa Bluetooth video. See: ua-cam.com/video/XPQ5zS9PIA0/v-deo.html

Glad you found it and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Same I never knew that was the aux part.
Never knew about this kind of thing. Well explained. Good stuff!
Glad the video's helpful, RDT.
Great to know! Thanks. Nice and clear know-how.
No worries, Bob.
I was expecting your channels theme song to play on your radio. Lol
Do do do do do do do!

Hello. You might find some information at the Corsa D Forum. See:

Well explained. Have never done that but now I know how.
Thanks Anne.
I guess you didn't film this vid today as the thermometer says 20 and mine says Ooh it's chilly out there chuck😂
Yep! I'm freezing, too!
Useful for owners to know.
I don't normally approve of further distractions in a car but in the case of that car the more the better. 😄
Had to dig this car up to film the video, Nta16. That mini excavator is mighty handy! 😁
@@CarSpyTV sorry to hear that, I was hoping the vid was from before the car went underground. ☹

Thanks for the useful comment and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Actual legend, cheers for the help 👍
You're welcome. More Corsa videos to follow.
Thank you mate it’s been helpful I was so confused man 🤦🏻
You're welcome. Glad the video helped. More to follow.

Hello. Some Corsas of this era don't have Bluetooth. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Can you take this out and replace it with a cigarette lighter socket?
A 12V power socket can be added to cars, but I haven't given much thought to the best method for a Corsa D.
However, among other things, I'd probably connect the socket to a fuse that's only live when the ignition's on.
This still doesnt work on my car what songs do i need to have or an app??
You don't need a special app for the phone. Anything that plays music is fine. Perhaps you have a faulty AUX cable.
Won't this stereo just connect via its Bluetooth setting rather then the Aux ?
Yes. The Corsa in this video has Bluetooth, too. Some don't though.

And what to do when my mobile doesnt have aux?

Hi I'm Meaty Spice. Can I play a song on your stereo😊
Only if it's Johnny Cash!
Good Info !Thanks Stephen
Thanks Mark. Hope you're doing well.
How can I answer on the phone of someone calls me?
My Corsa Bluetooth video covers such things. See:
