Actually, I think that is so you don't get stuck to trees, but either way, it's more of an oversight than a glitch.

@@rltt379 it is a glitch. A glitch being an unintended feature that became an oversight. This made his vehicle unfairly better. But the opposing vehicle could have beaten it (it was 2× operator error)
@@darkproductions8742 well kan could've made his creation faster like 1.5x, cosmo could use an easier sequence and automate as well and I think his creation can definetly beat kans if he were to automate it with speed, not going into whether it could stay on or not, because scrap mechanic

A glitch is, when you can achieve the unintended. As the pistons are intended to not have collisions it isn't a glitch

NvP video idea:
Bomber plane accuracy challenge where you have to use pistons and explosive spawners to drop bombs on targets and if you hit certain rings you get a certain amount of points (the pistons are so you make a hatch, don't just use the spawner on the bottom of the plane).
Also it has to be a plane and not a helicopter or VTOL that can stay at one point while flying, it has to be moving the whole time.
Kan: " Ladders in Scrap mechanic don't exist"

I see a video literally titled "this is why you dont listen to comments" with a pancake as a thumbnail
I wonder if you'd be able to make some sort of gear that climbs up the ladder or maybe even 2 gears that hug the ladder. It might be harder to get the spacing right but it would be a lot faster.
Thought of that too, but it's basically like using wheels
it would have been faster to use upwards pistons on both sets of arms, so they switch positions every time
Loving this series! Some ideas, pole / tree / tower climbers (if that's even possible), bi-pedal walkers, spud powered vehicle, wall climbers that have to change walls and wheelbase (transform to drive over narrow paths of different wheel widths, be able to change from a wall you are on to a wall above you).

The big question in this is: Who is making the challenge? Is it Kan, or Kosmo? If Kan is making them, then what stops him from training for the mission before it starts by him selves? I think for the Noob vs Pro series, the Noob should have the "advantage" of making the challenges.

build a mountain that has a tunnel at the bottom you need to build a mounted jackhammer to get to the bottom of. Maybe a mountain you need a creation to tunnel through.

for my fellow nerds[intellectual badass]: the formula for the difficulty; kosmo[human error*stress=999] kan[consistency*being a good mechanic at this kind of stuff=-999].small number=little difficulty.

You could of added another piston next to the one pushing up the arms u would be waaaay faster and kill kosmo's progress

the drone can have a camera and it can be used to explore the new mega island
Kan you guys build RC vehicles that are controlled via spud guns? No automation and possibly no switches. Perhaps another climber, that way it's always facing the same way?
At this point, suspension "glitches" and no collision piston are oversights that became what are basically features at this point, even though pistons with collisions would make pistons a whole lot glitchier.

i have an idea, explosive olympics v2, building mech-suits that can move explosives (forklift/crane style) without exploding it. can include tasks like jumping without it exploding etc etc :D
i bet you could have made his version into an automated vehicle in the time it was taking him to climb to the top.

kAN's automatic version is the equivalency of going up the stairs 2 feet per one step instead of just one step at a time
