Yes! We encourage customers to get on the waiting list for a 2022! If done so now, they may actually receive the vehicle in 2022. We do not have a dealer markup on any Corvettes. This vehicle is more expensive because it is ready to leave the lot right now. It was costly for the dealership to obtain it so that we can make it immediately available to a customer. Are we expected to purchase a vehicle and sell it at a loss?

GM is not putting a stop to it. GM is doing the same thing Dodge did when the Hellcat came out. They are ASSUMING that when dealers mark these cars up like this crappy dealer they won't be able to sell them. Cars that do not sell and sit on dealer lots will reduce their allotment. The dealer can still mark them up and this video proves a point. People have no problem paying the markup because it's only been 6 days since this video posted and the car is sold! That means this crappy dealer will still get their allotment of Corvettes for 2022 and WILL mark them up because they WILL sell!
@Sora we don’t markup at all for those who order. All it takes is a $500 deposit and a decent wait time. The reason this car is marked up is because it is available immediately and the dealership took it in at a marked up price.
we purchased this car at a marked up price for immediate sale. this is not a "new" car. it has 400 miles on it and was previously owned by a private owner. we never mark up over MSRP!!
