- With my ten year geocaching anniversary coming up soon, I wanted to learn the art of vlogging to prepare for a fun adventure I have planned on that day. Please join me as I find a virtual geocache in a cemetery in Linden, NJ!

Wow, what an awesome headstone. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! It was a very interesting virtual cache that I've been meaning to visit for years. After the fact I realized it might not be a headstone per se, but a memorial for someone buried nearby. Still interesting, nonetheless. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Have you ever found an unusual virtual cache like this?
For those wondering what my shirt says (my muggle family got it for me):
5 Things I Like Almost As Much As Geocaching:
1. Looking at my GPS
2. Talking about geocaching
3. Watching television programs that feature people geocaching
4. Websites about geocaching
5. Bacon
Hahahah.... bacon.
Good use of pointing to a corner card. OHHHH! We did that Virtual when we drove through your area. We filmed it too!
Where your eyes are looking. This is a hard one for vloggers to master. We still don't get it right. Figure out where your lens is and look at that NOT the screen of yourself. Use the screen as a general reference to your eyes of what you're showing but when speaking to your audience look into the lens.
I watched it back and I think I did a good job of looking at the camera, not the screen. Is there a place where you think I'm not doing that well? I try to use cards when possible, but not overdo it either. It helps me not have to re-explain everything each episode! Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@GeoElmoGeocaching was just a few places it looked like you were not quite on. Much better than most though. Keep doing what you're doing.
I'll keep an "eye" out for it. Oh that was terrible. :-) With my mirrorless there's only one place to look and it's easier not to mess it up, but I don't plan to use my mirrorless on my adventure so I'm trying to learn to use the phone instead.
I enjoyed that virtual
Me too! I had to park around the corner to avoid lots of people, and to be respectful. It's a very unusual thing to see!
Admittedly, that is one of the coolest headstones I have ever seen!
It's very unusual! Afterwards I thought about it and I'm not sure if it's actually a headstone, it might be a memorial for someone. Hard to tell! But cool nonetheless. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Wow, what a wild headstone! o_O
Crazy, isn't it? It may not be a headstone, it may be a memorial, I wasn't quite sure. But still, unusual and interesting! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Great concept for a virtual
It was cool, wasn't it? Thank you for watching and commenting!
That's a cool Virtual. And one heckuva headstone!
It's definitely unusual! It's been on my radar for a while and I finally got myself over there. I'd say "only in NJ" but not sure if that's true! Thanks for watching and commenting!
That's probably one of the coolest headstones I have ever seen. Great spot for a virtual cache, for sure.
It was a really interesting location, one of the things I love about geocaching of course taking me places like this. It's been on my radar for a long time and I finally drove over. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Another great cache. Saw a headstone like this in a cemetery in Vermont near the Rock of Ages granite quarry a few years ago but no geocache there.
I agree, this was a really cool cache. Discovering interesting places is one of my favorite things about geocaching. Thank you for watching and commenting!
It’s great to see someone else that respects that a cemetery maybe public but deserves respect.
Thank you, I do try to be respectful but I also wanted to share this really cool memorial. I hadn't even thought about people being there until I arrived, but when I saw people visiting their loved ones I pulled around the corner and filmed out of sight (and sound hopefully). I only did the b-roll near the memorial. Thank you for watching and commenting!
been meaning to find that one since 2016, not that far from me,everytime i think to go i end up saving it for a challenge tho.
It's a cool virtual cache, but I went on a Saturday and the cemetery was pretty crowded. I didn't want to disturb anyone so I parked around the corner and did the video. Saving it up for a challenge makes sense, especially when virtuals often are worth a lot of points. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I've taken people to show them that spot even after I found the cache there years ago.
That's fun! I had never been there before but I knew it existed because of geocaching. :-) Thanks for watching and commenting!
