Blackfoot Marauder back cover Monster Magnet Powertrip Deep Purple Made in Europe back cover Rainbow Rising Back cover Led Zeppelin Vol 3 back cover Alice Cooper Welcome to My Nightmare Heart - tie between Little Queen and Bebe Le Strange Nazareth Play n The Game
I watched the entire video waiting to see the back cover of Rush's 2112 with them showing off their kimodos scrotal-style. And a big miss leaving out Slade's front cover of Old New Borrowed and Blue. A bunch of handsome lads there.
Biased because I'm a huge "Sweet" fan. That pose of Brian, Steve, Mick & Andy, on the inside of the Level Headed album, from 1978!..Also, Jim Seals & Dash Crofts on the cover of Get Closer album, from 1976...Their look of absolute "hippie" serenity.
Most of the Jam albums for me; In the City, All Mod Cons, The Gift and This is the Modern World are all great covers; The Beat (Paul Collins Beat) is another brilliant shot of the band on the street and finally The Flamin' Groovies on the cover of Shake Some Action, where they're standing next to the Jag.
I was thinking UFO - No Place To Run (thought Martin might have chosen this ) and Alice Cooper - Billion Dollar Babies original gatefold sleeve ... bit weird though for obvious reasons 🙃
Yeah, Grant! Ramones, baby! Ramones for the WIN! You just neglected to mention Johnny Ramone surreptitiously giving the middle finger in that friiggin’ awesome pic, man. I loved the Steely Dan/Denny Diaz line too, “l don’t know if he’s going to farm, or work on your car.” Bwhahahahahahahaha! Classic. Another cool show, cats. Cheers from The Big Apple. 🍏 Rock Out, Prog On & Pogo! Your pal and ours, ~ The Lugubrious, Sonorous, Delirious, Davey Cretin from CRETIN CLASSICS.
Metallica Ride the Lightning back cover. They all look bad ass or the back cover of Master Puppets. KISS Alive! Cover, gatefold and the booklet Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East front cover Michael Schenker Group- MSG back cover pic of the band. That is a few off the top of my head.
The Beatles - Rubber Soul album cover Hellacopters - Payin‘ the Dues, great photo on the digipak backside. Velvet Underground - backside of the VU compilation, love the photo shot of the band! Madness - One Step Beyond, album cover The Clash - s/t, album cover Hives - Barely Legal, album cover
You four gentlemen still have the BEST chemistry of any panel show on Contrarians or SoT. Keep it up!
No one looks cooler than Bob Dylan on the Blonde on Blonde cover. I mean the scarf, the hair, and that look he has just screams rock star.
Radio Birdman - Radios Appear ( I prefer the black and white photo )
Have to agree with the Crue. They looked like badasses, even with mascara. Tough street gutter rat look.
I guess you had to be there.
