Aaron Rodgers is definitely not in the top 5 of all time discussion. Off the top of my head you have Peyton, Montana, Brady, Mahomes, Brees, Elway, Unitas, & Favre in the mix.
Eli is Next to Jeter as King of NY. Eli legend in NY is way bigger than Rodgers will ever be in Green Bay. Chris you’re playing yourself with the Tyree take. Stop it. He’s too 10 career TD’s and top 10 passing yards career. Winning in NY Is worth 3 rings any where else that’s a fact
they make the case that if aaron rodgers was like dan marino and didnt have a ring it would be different... its not like Eli manning is a Trent Dilfer or a Jim Plunkett. He was top 10 in yards tds and has the 2 superbowls. He's a top , what, 25, qb of all time too. he's not top 5 like Rodgers, but hes not a journeyman. david tyree to calvin johnson is not the correct comparison. On the wide receiver level its more like a Michael Irvin to Calvin Johnson. Lastly, the question is the career, not who is the better player.
I would take Eli's career over Aaron's. Cause what's being a top 5 qb when you're not #1? Who's #1? The guy Eli beat twice in the super bowl? Who can say they beat the goat twice in the super bowl? Biggest stage right?
Rob always disrespects Peyton’s 2nd ring. Yes he got benched due to his bad play while dealing with injuries. However he literally carried them in the playoffs once osweiler got benched

Why are people either forgetting? Or ducking the fact that Eli won his second chip on Aaron's watch! Rogers was 15-1 in 2011 and the Giants destroyed the Packers in that game. In the divisional round and the refs did everything they could to help Rogers ? Giants 35 packers 17 REFS 20😅😅😅😅

I would take Aaron Rodgers’s career because Rodgers’s is seen as one of the most talented quarterbacks ever he’s won 4 MVPs and won a ring yes I know he’s underperformed winning wise but I like his career better. Eli’s career is an average quarterback for most his career who’s had moments of playing good in the playoffs and he beat Tom Brady twice, but the thing is that he gets seen as not a hall of famer and carried by his defense by most fans and media. Eli beat the goat Brady twice in the superbowl while also becoming superbowl mvp and having legendary performances in the playoffs, with one of those patriots teams coming into the superbowl undefeated. The thing with Rodgers was he never got back to a superbowl after winning 1 against big ben and has been just one of the greatest regular season quaterbacks ever. People will remember Eli for the rings people will Rodgers for the 4 mvps. So looking at it from a championship and team accomplishment standpount Stroud does make sense.
I gotta be honest. The NFL had alot of prime and great players. He most def earned that one. I take Eli because of how young he was. It really makes a difference how you carry your franchise and Win. Rodgers could have more rings
If he was more demanding in his leadership role.
Were you in the locker room?
I would as well. Nothing wrong with what he said.
CJ likes Robin 🐦 over Batman 🦇
CJ likes 💍🟩Green Lantern over Batman🦇
CJ be lost in the sauce. 🥣
Everything is wrong about what he said, super disrespectful to a top 10 QB.
Eli got 2 rings. Rodgers 1. Nuff said.
Like Broussard said Role Player Mentality. Go ask Micheal Strahan who he rather pick
It’s his opinion you gotta respect it ! Eli do have 2 super-bowl wins under his belt , winning it’s all that matters, if you ask any franchise who they rather have they all gonna say Eli
Eli being in New York is similar to Joe Namaith because of the magnitude. Eli regular season always been hit and miss at best. Post season eli is more Robert Horry than Kareem Abdul jabber
Rodgers and its not even close.
You take Rodgers over Eli, but Eli over Brady?
Don't leave out how Eli BEAT Rodgers to get his 2nd and if Plax didn't shoot himself when we were 11-2 Eli would've had 3 lol
Dak beat Brady in the playoffs. It has to mean dak is now the GOAT!! See how ridiculous you sound?
I don't understand the people yelling about "winning!!!" and then just overlook that Rodgers won 16% more of his games in the league.
Eli had a legendary career in his own right, it doesn't beat 4 MVPs, 4 1st team all-pros, and the statistical records because he had ONE additional SB win.
Also, those SB teams from Eli were wild-card teams with great defenses. He gets credit, but come on get real about why Brady couldn't beat him. It wasn't like Eli was playing defense...
U play for superbowls two vs 1
Winning MVPs and having good stats is not a flex in a team sport. Eli wins in a trash talking session any day with Rodgers. He actually beat Rodgers on his way to a SB.
Then why keep stats at all if they don't matter?
You sound dumb. MVP means your are consistently giving your team the BEST chance to win every single game. It’s still a TEAM sport
Marino and Eli isnt close. I would much rather have Eli's career. Yeah he has two Super Bowls, but the stats, legacy, and accolades lean too much in Marinos favor. A more interesting conversation would be Marinos career or Big Bens career.
CJ Stroud should have been drug tested after because he's taking allot of 💩 for a player going to his 2nd year
You can make the argument that Eli had the better career, but you can't make the case that Eli was the better player. There's a big difference.
Chris never ket Rob talk he ask a question then answer his own question
I really F'in hate the rings debate. As it's the be all end all to way too many people. So Trent Dilfers career was better than Dan Marinos? I bet 100% of yall reading that think that's a rediculous statement, and while Eli had a better career than Trents it's pretty close in comparison as far as how rediculous it is, but for some reason people will talk themselves into believing this nonsense. And im no hater of Elis he had 2 of the most incredible runs in sports history it's an incredible thing, but we have to stop when we look at players careers with this stuff and comparing
So CJ saying he rather be Robin than Batman . CJ you fool of a took !
Rob really has a uncomfortable obsession with rodgers😂😂😂 I would take Eli over rodgers
i don't know why the media protects rodgers so much? if this was any other guy, with all that stat and only win 1 ring, they would be killing that guy!
But if its about super bowls, why does CJ have Dak in his top 5?
Aaron Rodgers is definitely not in the top 5 of all time discussion. Off the top of my head you have Peyton, Montana, Brady, Mahomes, Brees, Elway, Unitas, & Favre in the mix.
I'll take Tony Romo over Eli Manning EVERYDAY of the week.
Damn Rodgers woke up and caught a stray 😂😂
they make the case that if aaron rodgers was like dan marino and didnt have a ring it would be different... its not like Eli manning is a Trent Dilfer or a Jim Plunkett.
2-0 vs Brady in superbowls is bragging rights Aaron Rodger’s will never get close to. No one is saying eli is a better quarterback
Peyton gets credit for that Superbowl because he played
I would take Eli's career over Aaron's. Cause what's being a top 5 qb when you're not #1? Who's #1? The guy Eli beat twice in the super bowl? Who can say they beat the goat twice in the super bowl? Biggest stage right?
Rob always disrespects Peyton’s 2nd ring. Yes he got benched due to his bad play while dealing with injuries. However he literally carried them in the playoffs once osweiler got benched
That’s his choice I mean you can compare Aaron and Peyton because Peyton was great but only won 1 ring until Denver. And he only won because the D was lights out . But I’m taking Aaron!
I bet ppl can't name any team around Eli that was a great team he never had one superstar receiver and won 2 vs Brady
Similarly peyton over troy anyday. 3 rings vs 2 rings. 3>2
Eli Manning 2 rings, 2 superbowl mvps better in playoffs then Rodgers 1 ring, 1 superbowl mvp 😂
What a bad comparison. It’s not even close. I know what game I’m going to watch. Jets - Houston.
Something is wrong with you if you want eli career over aaron rodgers yall gotta refresh yall memory on a rod this is disrespectful
Lets also not forget the Giants were well on there way to another Superbowl until Plaxico Burres shot himself in a nightclub lol
Thank God cj stroud opened everyone's eyes.
Troy aikman over peyton manning anyday. People calling payton manning 3rd best GOAT when he was carried by defense for his 2nd ring over troy aikman with 3 rings who is disrespected like crazy. Anybody who has the audacity to put peyton over troy is delusional and i will thrash anyone who says peyton over troy.
You mean Troy with zero MVPs surrounded by Hall of Famers and a Hall of Fame coach?.... that Troy?
You mean Troy Aikman 12 seasons TD-INT 165-141 and 8 playoff appearances with TD-INT 23-17 Just to put this in perspective Mahomes in 6 seasons TD-INT 219-63 Postseason 6 years TD-INT 41-8. I know Mahomes is not part of this conversation but I wanted to show that not all 3 SB winners are equal or had the same impact
@@borislavpopov2548 Mahomes is a Freak. 41-8. Totally insane.
@@borislavpopov2548 individual achievements don't matter. 3 rings is all that matters. Ask cj stroud. He would pick troy anyday everyday over peyton.
@@user-wd7ue1wd6r No mate actually being elite at the craft that you dedicated your life to matters, having an impact on the winning matters not only how many rings you got, Robert Horry has like 8 rings I doubt anyone would consider him as an all time great. If you have 1:1 TD-INT ratio you are not a fcking positive you were along for the ride but this could have been anyone else that is a starting QB in league
CAREER, not his skill set. How is this so hard to understand?
12 misses playoffs, 3x lead leader in ints...2 lucky sb runs
@@ShawnReed-ny1hd vs 1 SB
His career has defined him as a top 5 QB in a lot of people’s minds. Eli’s career doesn’t even let him sniff top 25
@@sunnydays405 He's a top 5 talent, not career. If you give it to Rodgers then Matthew Stafford is right next to him. Both 1 SB and both amazing talents with not a lot of consistent postseason success
@@commentextraordinaire definitely top 10 career at worst. Stafford is nowhere near Rodgers, he doesn't have 4 MVPs.
Texans fan here and I’d totally take two superbowl over one. Good job CJ and they said you aren’t a test taker
What do Texans and Oilers know about Superbowls?
Absolutely zero super bowls
@@DrPhill96 lol 2 is greater than 1 that’s what I know.
@@TyrillCelestine - But what does being a Texan fan have to do with anything?
@@DrPhill96 idk bro use your brain cells
I can’t lie I despise Rob sometimes but I love this show and I ain’t clicking if that put that other dude on
2 rings constantly missing the playoffs 0mvp or 2 ring , 4mvp and always having a winning record lol it’s not even close.
I’m taking Eli’s career all day over Peyton and Sharon rodgers career any day
Eli was top 10 in passing yards and tds when he retired, on a running and defensive focused franchise and not A1 elite WRs ever 😂
Outside the top 60 in passing rating and among the leaders in interceptions as well, on a running and defensive team. And prime OBJ was a stud but Eli was dud at that time.
Chris must have played Div III basketball.
Aaron’s not a top 5 qb all time and he’s not in the discussion. Brady - nuff said, Montana - nuff said, Mahomes - nuff said, Manning - changed how the position is played and its value going forward. Elway - As talented as Aaron with more superbowl appearances, has the MVPs, and an extra Super Bowl. That list is locked in until further notice PERIOD.
Rodgers is simply a better QB than Elway, idgaf about him having one more ring.
@@blackanimelover18 Exactly. Rings are a team accomplishment. Who is the best at the position? It's not a tough question.
In conclusion I would rather be seen as an amazing quarterback who underperformed, then an average to above average quarterback who won more.
given his talent, you could argue that Rodgers has underachieved. whereas Eli achieved or overachieved his potential.
@@jjcardillo oh yeah going off their talent Rodgers’s should be at least a 3 time champion and Eli should have never became one based off of talent.
Rodgers is still playing so why even make this comparison?
I can't stand a surface level arguments, for example Eli has more rings than Arod so he's better! Smh
Packers fans should know better than to trash Eli Manning. He retired Brett Favre and one and done'd your boy Rodgers after his 15-1 Superbowl favorite/ MVP season. Did both your HOFers in their own house on the way to his rings. We don't forget these things.
Rodgers over Manning.....i know Eli has 2 rings but his overall body of work is not better than Aaron Rodgers......so would he take Big Ben over Bret Farve......now we know Bret is better than big ben with just 1 ring
You on crack if you take Eli over Aaron... This ring culture bs has gone too far
Ask AR if he wants to trade mvps with another ring? Done 😊
