Such a beautiful song with the right kind of compelling message, just a pity that the message of repentance and conversion is not in there. Being all born sinners lacking God's grace we cannot access His love if we don't bow to Him humbly and confess our sinful state and need of His salvation through the sacrificial blood of Christ

This is such a great song. It is so meaningful for me as a sister of st. joseph for nearly 6o years. The choirs voices are so clear and distinct. I first heard it by our choir a few years back and it brought tears as I thought this is what I was doing all of my professional life as a teacher.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." * * * HEY YOU ! { Believers=?} Do YOU go to reach the lost ? Do you care that they'll spend eternity in Hell unless they are "Born again" [believe= repent=receive] Did Jesus die in vain [for nothing? His blood spilt for nothing] because the lost didn't hear the good news of the grace of God??? IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY !!!
Dick Murdoch was actually a very nice guy. Tough and very funny man. I am not to sure he is racist because he did tag team with JYD. He couldn't have been very racist.
Many anabaptist groups do not separate themselves as drastically as old order Mennonites or Amish. I grew up in the Grace Brethren Church in so. CAL. there are 3 or 4 other Brethren groups that do just fine living in this world and maintain a close walk with Jesus Christ. ANABAPTIST ALL. BY the way I hope you don't think they are anti/Baptist, they are not against any Christian group. God Bless
