I just started playing a game, that i think is best at Solo called “Imperium Classic”, You have to give this game a try, it’s a little challenging to learn, but, man, for me it’s the best Solo game i have ever played. The thing i like the best is it upgrades itself about halfway through the game, and the AI feels almost like a real player. I don’t think you will be disappointed, and i have a feeling it will be your 6th favorite solo game.
@@boardgamecloset another game I would suggest you look at is a game called “Backwoods” by Ryan Williams distributed by Most High Design. It has what the box calls an intense solo mode, I have played it twice, and love it.
I absolutly love Hadrians Wall and Wingspan solo, and I really like Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition. So your list makes we want to try out Arnak. I've been a bit on the fence about this one. I'm not sure if it might get a bit stale after a while. Since the box is so big and I don't have so much shelf space I have to believe I'll be playing it a lot to justify the purchase. You might wanna try out Paladines of the West Kingdom. It scratches a similar itch than Hadrians Wall. And of course Ark Nova. My new solo favorite.
Good stuff. Haven’t tried Terraforming Mars or Ares. Not sure which to start with but would most likely be solo. Try Under Falling Skies if you haven’t.
have you tried the campaign/missions available on BGG for Hadrian's Wall? it turned a really good solo experience into a great one! I highly recommend it
Hey thanks for checking that out! I believe I’ve only played the solo on honey buzz once or twice but I did enjoy it. Offhand I can’t really remember how the solo play works. I’ll have to break it out again.
We have played Fallout but not with that expansion. We didn’t enjoy the base game. Maybe that’s why the expansion is mandatory huh? Have not played Waste Knights.
@@boardgamecloset Yes. If you check basically all the first reviews on BGG for the Atomic Bonds expansion page, you're going to see A LOT of people saying it basically completely fixed the game. I am the base game with that expansion this week, can't wait to see it. From what I saw, it might be worth it checking out that expansion, it's reasonbly cheap and makes the game a lot better (from what I hear)
“Excel the spreadsheet game”: well now I’m interested
Ha ha yes! 🙌🏼
Nusfjord is my favorite worker placement solo game. Plays fast and feels like you are solving a different puzzle each time.
Nice! I haven’t played that one yet.

I just got Ark Nova and have heard it’s a great solo experience! Excited to check it out.
Which of these games would you say is the most strategic with least amount of luck?
Any other suggestions would also be highly appreciated.
Oh that is a tough question! I would say it's a toss up between Lost Ruins and Hadrian's Wall.

I have heard about it but haven't tried it yet! Thanks for the push. I'll pick it up.

I haven’t yet. Gotta try that!
Just watched your video on Honey Buzz as well. Wondering how it is solo?

Have you guys ever played
Fallout (with the Atomic Bonds mandatory co-op expansion), or
Waste Knights (2nd Edition)?
We have played Fallout but not with that expansion. We didn’t enjoy the base game. Maybe that’s why the expansion is mandatory huh? Have not played Waste Knights.
