I’m all for this! One minute more would have been nice but I love seeing my favorite player get attention at any point. Lamar may not be the best but is definitely the most dynamic and unique quarterback, and with the best kicker and an insane rb and mark Andrew’s it will be a beastly ravens team. This man Lamar deserves the MVP this season (2024-2025)
Been an NFL fan for 50+ years. I used to pick Barry Sanders #1 on the playground pick. Now it's LJ8. I feel real lucky that I get to watch him play each week.
Lamar has won two MVPs on his first year of a new offense. (Marty, Roman, now Monken)
Each season his decision-making is quicker, the spiral is tighter, and the ball placement gets better. Adding Derrick Henry to the backfield as a true RB1 is really going to make a HUGE difference this season. I'm predicting a 2019-type of efficiency as far as passing from Lamar in 2024!

Cause people have the weird idea that Purdy is a system qb, and that only qbs can win it. nobody really thought he was mvp until they beat the niners.
I still maintain that Lamar's absolute best throw is at 2:47, the TD pass to Andrews vs the Chargers in 2018. A perfectly placed ball hits Andrews in the hands and fully in stride while getting it over top of the linebacker trying to keep with Andrews. That is the first throw I'd show to anyone who says Lamar can't throw
It was good! But I would argue the Desean pass against JAX or the pass to Zay against Cincy were more *shock face* type throws.

@@deemity7557 OBJ Was a Part Timer, he often gave up on plays. Zay flowers was a rookie. mark andrews missed most of the season. The leagues best running game consisted of Lamar leading the team in rushing, as well as his best running back missing the entire season and his second best back missing the second half of the season. Definitely the best defense, but the O line was Bad. No where NEAR great not even good. Had tackles and guards missing multiple games constantly being switched out for 2nd strings. Never heard of a Super Bowl winning team with split play on offensive line. Your argument is flawed
Rice = Zay, I’m taking Watson over OBJ the guy plays a few snaps then he’s out the rest of the game, Kelce > Mark and Likely, Both 1 and 2 defenses, KC O line was more healthy and better, and Pacheco is better than any running back the ravens had healthy last season. But it’s funny that this was was Mahomes worst team around him but Lamar’s best team around him, yet the chiefs compares quite similarly. That just proves how terrible the ravens have been at surrounding Lamar with weapons while Mahomes was cruising with Kelce and tyreek hill. Like I said if Lamar was drafted to the chiefs in that situation, with Kelce and hill, no doubt he is a Super Bowl champion today
I can make an argument that Lamar has never even had a top 20 ranked receiver to throw to in 6 seasons.

As a Steelers fan, I think he is great and I mean it, but he needs to learn to stop beating himself when it matters most.
