I thought when you rounded the fabric up you were going to cut the strips at that time. It seems like it would be easier to cut it that time, especially after you turn the glove right side out.

What if I have small hands I can never find gloves that are small enough
Make you own pattern by tracing your hand. Add a seam allowance around and have fun sewing.
