Shane - I think what I love most is the genuine authencity of your reviews, I'll take genuine over polished every day of the week and I'm loving watching you go from strength to strength
Great review! Thanks :)
A honest human review, thanks.
I got the cheap VssoPlor one. It only connects by bluetooth to one device at the time, by slower BT version but you can connect via the microUSB for a wired connection which I like. Some keys either side of the folds are smaller but you get used to it. Also has trackpad with clickable right and left buttons.
I’ve got a Logitech ergonomic BT keyboard and MX mini mouse which both can switch among 3 BT devices. I love them. I use them to switch between my work PC, personal laptop, and iPad mini all the time. Works great!
I totally get what you mean about the quest for the perfect portable mouse and keyboard setup. It's a crucial part of making your Steam Deck and smartphone setups feel like efficient workstations.
It's interesting to see your unboxing and initial thoughts on the Protoark foldable mouse and keyboard combo. The flexibility to switch between devices seamlessly using Bluetooth and the dongle does sound promising. The keyboard's functionality seems better than expected, even though it might not have that premium feel.
I'm curious to know more about your long-term experience with this setup. How does it hold up over extended use? Does it maintain its connectivity reliability? And do you find yourself using it as your go-to mouse and keyboard for your various setups?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this product. Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences with it!
I bought the protoarc on a whim because it had a full 10key numpad and multi connection capability - I use it with my samsung dex + xreal air 2 as well as a couple other devices - one uses the dongle, the other uses the second BT connection. I love it so far. My only complaint is no backlight option, and no "hard lock" when it's open to keep it from closing. (Makes it hard to use on the lap, but works fine on any hard surface)
A simple "bar" that extends to lock the bending points would be great.
I've had my protarc keyboard for some time. I have my Onexplayer 1 and Onexplayer 2 with my laptop. Having the 3 devices connected with 1 keyboard was a huge selling feature for me. I didn't get mine with the mouse but will be buying it now
Bro thanks for the review, like how the case of senerio influenced your general output of the device. And encoding bro I'm just a longer hair version of you my word
Hi Shane, not sure if you have seen the latest B.O.W. HB318 Keyboard, like u usb C was essential, but I wanted multiple pairings and a touchpad it's about $30 and works with my SD2, Windows PC & Steam deck using BT5.1
Looking for clarification. Shane, is the mouse connecting to the paired devices thru the keyboard? Does the keyboard control the switching? I have a lot of keyboards and mousing devices. So I'd love to switch between devices with only one button on the top of the keyboard. Currently I have to flip over my mouse and also click a button on the keyboard. Some of my keyboards even have a switch on the bottom. This might be a real good find.
The mouse is its own thing. You pair and switch separately.
If you don't travel Logitech k780 is a full size standard keyboard with mouse usb and Bluetooth but you can program quickly 3 devices to use by press 1 2 or 3 to change between devices

o meu acabou de chegar estou achando top demaIs.
0:36 What's the name of your folding keyboard, please?
I bought the iclever keyboard. I don't need a number pad and I love having a trackpad.
There is ProtoArc XKM02 with trackpad instead of numpad.
Gonna try using it to play RE4: remake on my IPhone 15.
Love my Steam Deck...its my portable computer when i travel, which is so much better than my macbook.
I have the steam deck too, today my Lenovo legion go came it's crazy.'you gotta check that one out.
looks like a nice keyboard, but I'll pass. I've already got that bifold Microsoft bluetooth keyboard 😎
Once you set up Logitech you don't have to reprogram the 3 devices unless you need to use a different but Logitech has a better keyboard and mouse
this video's thumbnail caught my attention: the left hand side device looks like a surface NEO!!!?!??!?! please tell me it's not a genuine one
Just a Duo :P
And better get this XKM01 or the recently released XKM02, if you can respond, I'd appreciate it.
And is it good for gaming maybe have to wait a couple years for something foldable and small but you can connect to your tablet or phone tablet bigger screen but phone smaller because you don't have to bring a Chromebook so you can play Roblox Minecraft qnd other games would be nice instead of bringing something bug then having to connect your gead phones and other stuff but Bluetooth another plus for gaming and work or other stuff your doing nice for both gaming and doing other things but on your mobile devices like tablets or phones maybe the next couple years they'll have something like a pc but mobile then also better phones and other technology will come out by the time a technology like that comes out so basically a mobile PC for mobile games and other stuff or in the future phone can play games like console games like your using xbox cloud but not a remote a keyboard even better but currently mostly mobile games that come with the phones not like gaming consoles games like play station or Xbox maybe the future
Folding keyboard is cool, but in Bluetooth mode, cuts out from time to time. Also customer service is non-existent.
I've started feeling like Amazon has turned into a flea market of Chinese C- tier products. It doesn't promote quality, it promotes items which will inspire people to buy another thing in a couple weeks.
There are unequivocally some gems out there though. Biggest one that comes to mind are Soundpeats earbuds. They have no right sounding as good as they do while being as cheap as they are.
Also factor in the fake reviews. The only redeeming quality is amazons return policy but then that has me thinking why shop somewhere with good returns?
