@@travis8665 Not necessarily, some of those old Porsches don't stand a chance against newer, lighter, nippier hot hatches around a track. you can see in the video that the more modern Porsches came past. I own one of these little pocket rockets, and they're wicked to drive.

Oui elle semble beaucoup moins piegeuse et délicate à haute vitesse qu'une Alpine ! C'est une auto très bien équilibrée avec les quatre roues bien aux 4 coins de la caisse ( peu de porte à faux avant)
201ch moteur 1,6L turbo et différentiel à glissement limité mécanique à l'avant. Nous ont à pas accès à cette voiture au Canada, par contre moi début d'année prochaine je vais avoir une Elantra N auquel vous n'avez pas accès. L'Elantra N possède un moteur 2,0L turbo de 276ch et un différentiel à glissement limité électronique cependant. Mais oui cette i20N à l'air vraiment pas mal
@@grantorino9049 it's not math, that's how it generally works. Difference is only straight road so handling doesn't matter there and powerwise they're pretty much same.
I've seen a lot of downshifts where you'd expect a turbo car has enough torque, especially around 4.000 rpm - 5:30 not enough power and torque at 5.000 rpm to pickup speed? Probably 30+ degrees and lower power output? Great lap tough! 🏁
Do you know that part of the track live? It is very steep overthere but you can not see that good on the video. In its class this car is very good I think and the driver is very good too. Around 8'20 btg in trafic is not slow in this car. And in a car it feels faster than on a video. Last weekend I had a passenger lap in a i30N Fastback. It is a part of the Hyundai Driving Experience. I can recommand to do that if you want a taxi lap not expensive on the Nürburgring. eu.drivingexperience.hyundai.com/booking/experience-details/nordschleife-n-taxi If it not changes the i20N will not be available for a taxi lap. Now they have the i30N hatch and fastback. I have nothing to do with that taxi company, I just want to let you know about this new taxi lap company.

Looks like a good hot hatch the i20N, seem to be a little weak at the top end, but I'm sure a stage 1 or 2 map can release mush more power then from factory, going to be better for tuning then the Mk8 Fiesta ST as the i20N is a 4Pot, like it.

The i20 N was being driven by a professional, the Fiesta ST was probably also being driven by a tourist (not to mention that it was the old generation model).

Thought NGS was reserved for the DCT model? Thought maybe it was the rev match button. The NGS bottom on my car is on the steerwheel just above the N button. Wish it was a red button like that.
Fiesta ST mk8 only with Eibach lowering springs, DS2500 brake pads and Castrol racing brake fluid on stock tires (205/40/18): 8:14 BTG: ua-cam.com/video/qdkBJWz5RjY/v-deo.html But Fiesta ST mk8 has much smaller front brakes rotors than i20N (mk8 278mm/i20N 320mm) and i20N has wider stock tires (205 vs 215mm).
U can mount the 340mm i30N brakes (pre facelift) , they fit. We tried in our Workshop 👌 stock Brake front is from i40 2.0L Diesel. Should be enough for daily usage

Si vous avez un compacte avec un moteur de 100-120 cv, vous n’êtes probablement pas premium. 😂 150 cv n’a rien de sportif sur une compacte, mais c’est une puissance qui est suffisante pour rouler de manière confortable dans toutes les situations.

@@Hollyone Fiesta needs a perfect round without traffic to reach 8:18. Its more 8:25. And the brakes are really bad, you are wright. U cant do more than 1 lap without a break in the Fiesta 😅
theres a reason smaller cars do so well. no fear. when i drive my dsr 110bhp around corners i will destroy most high performance cars because they are too scared to mess up their cars
Probably end of the power band. the I30N and my VelsoterN (same drivetrain) start to fall off just after 6k so there is no real point in revving them out past that. I assume that the I20N is similar.

In other words...it's an overboost mode that lasts for 20 seconds...and needs a cooldown time until it can be used again.

I would just keep the fk8... i30N is great but I think the fk8 is better.
It's flawed ergonomically, though. The gearshift lever is positioned some 9-10 cm
