Good, with the same airbrush that you paint, you apply varnish or you have another one. And if it is the same as you clean it between paintings. Thank you. Great job like everything you do.
Hi Tom, this is starting to look amazing. Why don't you do a nice Rally or DTM car for yourself like the Tamiya Mercedes C-Class DTM kits. Bet it would look amazing!
Hi Tom, Can I ask you something? I wonder what would happen if I use pearl clear on the primer directly? I don't have anything to experiment it on and don't want to risk it on the car's body. Also, I saw some people on real car's painting forum say that the primer and clearcoat combo doesn't last. I wonder if it the same case for model cars?
Hi Tom. On the video you didn't seem to be getting the decals out of water! Did you soak them prior to shooting the vid ... or, else, what is your technique?
Great job, that paint finnish is fantastic! An idea for your next project could you build an Audi Quattro (UrQuattro). Would like to see that. Thank you.
Where do you put all these models?!! I’ve started using 2k with mixed results and often wet sand & polish but end up sometimes with a milky finish. particularly with black paint. What am I doing wrong?
Rajaram Sivasankar as far as I know, you use a too narrow nozzle. I recommend to switch to 0.3 mm or even a wider option. Also, try to use several thin layers of clear coat.
Did you applied the decals over the paint, without using clear coat? The Zero paint is flat, so I assume, the decals does not stick to the flat surface well
Yes, and the previous video, also. This is why I asked. Maybe my question was not clear How did you solved the problem, the decals on a flat surface? Maybe, the Zero paint is flat, but smooth enough to apply the decals? Or, the Micro Set solution helped the decals to stick to the surface? I will try it, I have many zero paints (this Alpine blue metallic too), and many unused decals.
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Tom this kinda answers my question from yesterday, or the day before! I can't see on your model what I tried to describe on my Jagermeister Porsche. As I said it's only noticeable up close. I don't remember putting SOL over the decals, but I definitely put SET under them. But they looked flat as flat can be on the Zero paint, and I left it to dry naturally for a few days. Still looks good though, just not as good as yours!
Hi, yes the decals stick on the mat surface of the ZP using setting solution without problems. However, don’t you get slivering due to the mat surface? Thank you.
How come they don't make model kits of cars at this scale with doors that can open? I mean obviously cost is probably the reason, but wouldn't that be cool?
Please do more race cars due to the need of learning decal placement/setting & clear coating, plus....I love races cars. Thank you for this video.

Looks nice, looks so realistic.
love your videos!
because of you I just ordered H&S evolution silverline 2in1 :)
Hi Tom, this is starting to look amazing. Why don't you do a nice Rally or DTM car for yourself like the Tamiya Mercedes C-Class DTM kits. Bet it would look amazing!
Good option, getting closer to rally cars.
How do you clean your air brush? Ultrasonic cleaner?
Thanks
By hand, i have a video on my channel
Nice paint ! Great job !! 👍😊

Just like everyone else. Decals in the water first. Then take them out to get them off of the backing paper ;)
When are you going to finish the rest of the build?
Waiting, waiting...
I'm waiting the same! I've just received this kit yesterday and am looking for hints and tips in the build... Breath...held...here....
Great job, that paint finnish is fantastic! An idea for your next project could you build an Audi Quattro (UrQuattro). Would like to see that. Thank you.
Can you do a in-depth video on how to paint the model, do you need to do anything to the paint, primer, what clear coat you recommend, ect please
I do that on pretty much every first episode of a build series
Where do you put all these models?!! I’ve started using 2k with mixed results and often wet sand & polish but end up sometimes with a milky finish. particularly with black paint. What am I doing wrong?
seems like your not using a high enough grit for the sanding(polishing)
Damn you are good at putting decals on your collection. Im not so good.
Awesome cars! I’ve been subscribed for quite a while and have watched all your vids! Have you thought of doing a Corvair??
How do you avoid orange peel when applying clear coat? Your paint finishes seem so smooth and great to look at!
Seems like it might be the clear is really thin and not viscous, causing it to self level easier as it dries.
I am using the Zero 1K clear, with a 0.2mm nozzle... might the problem lie there instead?
Rajaram Sivasankar as far as I know, you use a too narrow nozzle. I recommend to switch to 0.3 mm or even a wider option. Also, try to use several thin layers of clear coat.
Thank you all for your help. Thankfully, I think this problem can be mitigated on the current build, but will heed our advice on the next build! :)
Great Work and nice color 👍
Beautiful blue
Beautiful work!
How long did you need for the decals? You cut it down to less than 5 minutes.
An hour or so, not sure
Have you ever done any 1/72 plane kit or else or do you just stick to cars?
I mainly stick to cars
Looks awsome, you should attempt a diorama some time :D
Great video , I always loved that car......
Great content! Keep it up. .....That decal segment was headache inducing though... ughh.
Can you not use a diamond coat after placing the decals?
Mj Tingzon this paint needs clear coat.. if you put the decals on first then clear you get a better seal and job on the decals..
From where do you get the body of cars
Did you applied the decals over the paint, without using clear coat?
The Zero paint is flat, so I assume, the decals does not stick to the flat surface well
Did you watch the video?
Yes, and the previous video, also.

Decals stick just fine to flat paint. If applied correctly. Use SET and SOL and they stick just as well as on gloss surfaces

Is the body light weight
Where can i find tamiya enzo ferrari metal pattern decals
Snoop Dogg try any of the following: HLJ.com, Hiroboy.com, Spotmodel.com, Mediamixhobby.com/sg, Grandprixmodels.com.

Very nice.
can cans achieve the same effect?
Vince Wei you can use Tamiya sprays for color layers but TS-13 can’t be compared with 2K clear coat.
More decals on this model that in the whole channel lol
Thats not true. The C7R was fully wraped. And not to forget all the carbon decals on the hurracan, 918,570s etc etc etc
The Scalemodeling Channel it's my impression then :D
That little gal is sweet.
Moar race cars pls
