I pray that the Lord will stir his heart and blesses him with better life, so he could feel that he’s loved and feel precious in God’s eyes. He needs a new life in Christ.

Just saying, there is plenty of Art and Music to enjoy ( whether the bands are Christian or not or decline to say ) through Freedom and Discernment. Every person's relationship with God is unique; I'm definitely not telling you what to do. Maybe He directed you out of those scenes and music. He loves you so much, He loves us all! It's not so much the music,but the Lyrics!
Question do the lyrics glorify the Lord, or are they unedifying to us. I even called my music my religion. I destroyed it all, as the Lord convicted my heart of it. But what a release when I did. It's something that had a huge grip in my life, and I lived out that life.
When men worship idols they tend to behave and even dress the same way as their idols,including behaving the same way.
I am not saying everybody needs this,but I needed to be free.
Nothing wrong with music, but if you spend all your money on it, and it changes your attitude and dress sense then their is a problem there.
So I share this scripture regarding the curious arts or witchcraft. It's about the writings in their scrolls.
Lyrics in music are the same,if you listen a lot, those lyrics can form you and do change you. Attitudes ect. In Romans we are told not to be conformed to this world, but have our minds renewed. This is because we are new creatures in Christ. Romans. 12:1-2

That can include up to Loosing your Life and loosing Earned Eternal Rewards for things done in the flesh after you Get Saved. Your Rewards in Heaven have Nothing to do with you Salvation but are contingent on how your live, in the flesh, after you Get Saved. Biblical Salvation is All About FAITH ALONE in The Risen Lord Jesus Christ's BLOOD which is the Object of our FAITH being the FULL PAYMENT MADE ON OUR BEHALF Plus Nothing our Fallen Flesh Brings but a filthy son of Adam!!.
