I have a video or livestream idea: Create a detailed park on a square map! And A small island in the opposite corner of the park. And make it possible for humans to get to it pls?

A tip I would suggest is using colored lights and buildings to theme an area, I built a park on Nublar 2015 where each continent had a different motif (Red for North America, yellow for Africa, blue for Europe, green for Asia and orange for South America) and an Australian park on the map with the natural lagoon divided between blue and orange (blue for the lagoon area with Kronosaurus, orange for the plateau with all three Australian dinosaurs). It works especially well for nocturnal parks.

Do they not have a dino petting zoo attraction like in the JW? That's a huge L. I bought it at launch but just started really playing.
My favourite trick is sight lines. Choosing a focal point and deciding how you want the guests to view it. I usually plan it out with sand, circle for the focal point and lines leading from it to where the guests will be, then when altering the terrain and adding decorations I keep that line clear or only use decorations that are lower than the guest. I love it because you can create natural looking enclosures that don't affect the visibility and for guest attractions it just adds more depth and draws your attention to certain parts that you could pretend are insta worthy photo spots for the guests or pretend that they're there to make them spend more money, e.g clear line of sight to food/drink areas at the end of long pathways and steep hills, souvenir shop in line of sight when exiting the lagoon or aquarium viewing areas.
I’m legit mad at myself for not being this creative with my parks. Definitely gonna try to incorporate some of these ideas into my parks next time I play the game. Thanks for the tips, Evo!

I've been hoping for a video like this! Ive been decent at building paddocks but the actual infrastructure and park I've always struggled with... Usually resort to filling it with trees😅

9:46 Actually I incorporate an area I call an “employee only area” which is like the restricted section of Jurassic World or where all the staff buildings go, paleo medical facilities and all.

Your videos always inspire me and wit hthe new update im planning on creating a massive park where I will try implement as many of your tips as I can along with some of my own ideas.
I need a refresh since I stopped playing for a while so this video came just in time to help me.
I really should try making nice plazas since I only know how to make hotel areas and shopping areas for my guests although I dont struggle with building creative enclousers (exept from indominus, for some reasson I always make a paddock simular to the movie one with double fencing and to be honest I dont know why but I feel like if I do it any other way its wrong)
Hey evo! One idea I wanted to dump in was having an aviary in the middle of large safari enclosures and either enter with a tour or use the tour as a way to make a sort of viewing island in the enclosure/next to the aviary.
There needs to be more UA-camrs out there like you and Caesar creates who do really good unmodded park builds. Nothing more disappointing than being on console and not being able to rebuild some people's parks
I tried separating dinosaur enclosures by time period, and it worked much better than I would have thought, it really gives you the impression of moving through time periods along with the dinosaurs, and it works much better when you can pair certain herbivores with smaller carnivores and scavengers of the period. Using coelophysis and herrerasaurus for the triassic and Allosaurus and compys for one of the Jurassic enclosures works super well for the design and cohabitation.
Nice a compilation of building tips. I have a small tip for the bioluminescent paras, you can make a moon shaped pond for them and put a zipline and/or a tour going through the paras will look like stars at night but in the day they will be a nice attraction with viewing galleries and the tour/zipline you set up, or make a star which ever floats your boat

Thank you for these tips I always wanted to make a good layout park where its organized cuz most of the times my park was just mainly amenities and enclosures and it looked goofy with the placements and I felt like I was missing things to my park
Looking at real-life maps of zoos and theme parks can be a good source of inspiration, I have an entire folder of zoo maps that I've kept around to come up with natural-looking park layouts.
Currently building my best park yet but now that the update is coming, it feels kind of small with the square levels being added but I also don’t want to start over on a square map since I‘ve already dedicated about 36 hours to this park. Your videos really gave me great inspiration.

Regarding the use of incubators as attraction, I think is very cool also to use the research center and paleo medical building as they were accessible to guests and connected to the incubators like a sort of “science park”… in the park I’m working on I like to see them as separate areas with exclusive access through a guided tour and also to place the lab tour and virtual reality attraction near them :)

I think my favorite enclosure I made I called the jack horner exhibit where it’s 3 enclosures one holding maiasaura then every now and then I herd one into the second enclosure which is more of a theater the other enclosure holds a trex

I mostly build different versions of Jurassic Park in the game. So the upcoming large square maps will finally give me enough space to recreate the entire park including the dock area. That is what I'm most excited about because that first park was legit.
Love the tips! I'm worried about the blank space in these new square maps that we saw on the livestream. Fingers crossed they have trees up to the area we're able to build on!

one thing i like to do with hatcheries is put them in a staff area, i make a little square area enclosed by fences with staff buildings, ranger stations and hotels etc, and a hatchery amongst that !!

I just got JWE2 and I honestly lost my sense of creativity. Been a fan of JP since I was a kid and now I was able to make my own. But after watching a lot of your videos, I’ve been able to be a lot more creative with my park. Love the vids. Keep it up. I wanna keep making more unique parks and tie videos are such a big help

Hey Evo! I have a idea for the new square maps. Maybe you can build the Jurassic World main street and the other things surrounding it. I know you made it before, but back then not all the decorations we have now were available. And now we also get the new attractions and also the trees of all bioms. And it will be much easier to build with the bigger maps. Maybe you can do it in the future. But it's just an idea. Thank you for all the videos you make, they always make my day! An extension to the tip at 5:04 I would recommend driving ranger team vehicles around the park for easier viewing
i actually used the forest brush to minimized the area i was working with, and made mountains all around to make a huge valley like area.
I’m currently working on a massive jurasicl park style park with a tour trail and I’m going to have little Easter eggs and I will definitely use some tips for it!

I often find myself coming back to this, I think my main issue is the paths, I just do a fat line with a different colour line either side of it and don’t know what to do so I just surround it, that point about open space is probably my favourite one. (Being on console doesn’t make it any easier)

One tactic I use to put even more dinosaurs is by building a 3x3 fence enclosure it can fit any dinosaur but only at a certain amount and you’ll need a little bit of water in order to have them walk around

You’re videos are very well done and full of information for someone like who does not specialize in sandbox mode. That said, I have a problem with both games, specifically building far too many guest facilities and never enough enclosures for the dinosaurs. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong here?

Honestly the times that I've built a park in that game, is I packed everything together more of conserving space type manner.
These are good tips, especially the plaza tip but the negative space I gonna have a hard time with.

Probably! But I don't know if people would still be interested once we have square maps for all biomes. If you struggle with a map, you won't really need tips, you can just go to the square version

🔲❤️Oh my god, my fav UA-camr has made yet another amazing and inspiring video😁. I'm so hyped for the new DLC and update. I'm especially looking forward to the massive maps. Speaking of that, could u please make a video just going into more detail of the upcoming massive maps (according to your opinion). We do know that we will get larger maps, but I have noticed something. We haven't thought about how much new content we will get out of it🤔. Such as Canada's huge lake or Isla Sorna's JP3 runway. It would make a great video if you ask me🏆?
