@@DixonBeatsappreciate the message fam for some reason i having problem getting kontakt 7 and the only way is to get a direct download not thru native access And i cant get to download anything from ur link im not sure if its my internet but im not seing the vst pic on the page
In case you want to make an orchestral Vital / Serum preset pack in the future, you can check out Mintona Audio in case you don't already know about them. They have done exactly that. Because Vital is a synth, the sounds are hit or miss. Some presets sounds amazing. Other sounds meh, but that's ok because Vital is a synth after all. I value a lot when no samples are needed.
Hey Mr Dixon hope you are keeping well bro. Have you noticed that LABS needs to be connected to the Internet to use it? I have emailed them and they said that they know about it and are sorting out an update. Not good if you are out and about on your laptop with no WiFi....
I like the SAM strings. They cut thru a mix very well because they have alot of midrange. Also some great percussion sounds. But I would recommend not using the built in reverb.
@@DixonBeatsI can't speak for most people, but me and my friends share confusion regarding how to set it up. As in how to record with it and so on. My guess is that we're not the only ones in that boat
Yeah I’ve heard a couple of people say they dislike using it to be fair. You just download native access from their website and then put the serial numbers from any products you have into Native Access and it downloads the libraries that show up in Kontakt if that helps. I know other people have problems with library locations ect which can be long winded too though :/
MIA: HELLO Free Instruments from Vienna Symphonic Library. Also, while it's still free - SI String Section from Cakewalk by Bandlab. Both top notch 👍👍👍
Dear Dixon. A lovely library for backing strings - free - is Edirol Orchestral. Right. I know TECHNICALLY you're downloading a pirated package but it's abandonware - you can't get the original any more so the pirate's the only one left! The other instruments are meh but the strings are lovely for backings. I mean I wouldn't use them for FULL ON IN YA FACE HANS ZIMMER mockups but to put behind pianos and things they're lovely. Don't use their reverb though, it sucks! Turn the reverb off, set attack to 12, release to 22, bell-curve EQ at approx. 1000 to get rid of the dying cat and you're away! All other free instruments - checkout the Colombo Soundfont. Yup - an SF2! You MIIIIIGHT need Soundfont Splitter first, it's the kinda size elephants pay homage to. But its flutes, violin (also checkout AAVIOLIN soundfont) all its other sounds - chuck a bit of reverb/EQ at them and they're perfectly serviceable (got a feeling the flute had a passing acquaintanceship with a Kontakt pack before it became a soundfont!) Never underestimate the 'umble soundfont. (Use the SFZ+ player. Best engine - there's a version with all the 'hidden' controls revealed out there. Any probs., I'm ulrich burke at hot mail dot com and I've got all the above to give away as downloads.) Best voice - Irina Brochin at Papelmedia Soundfonts. She was a real person - she died of a heart attack on stage and her husband wanted all the world to know about her. So he made her voice into a to-DIE-for soundfont on Papel Media, it's the best thing in the collection. I use it all the time. Why do I push Edirol when the others you have sound more real? Because you can't DO anything with your ones. If you want That Particular Sound/Chord, then yes. Use yours. If you want to write a strings backing track for a piano (a la Richard Clayderman) - yours won't do it. Or not without considerable hassle! Edirol will. Just a bit of EQ and reverb (Ambience free plugin's great) and you're away. Yours respectfully, Chris.

Cheers mate! Will do, thanks for the recommendation 🙌🏻
great selection - got all of those - looking forward to playing with Orchestral Elements when I get time - probably October!
Out of curiosity, why do you use the midi controller with pads rather than the one with keys?
Sometimes I use one other times I use the other 🙌🏻
The best content about orchestral sounds I've seen bro, thanks for it!
Cheers man anytime! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Thanks for this video explaining the options! It is great that there is so much free stuff!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much brother.❤
Always welcome!

I haven’t noticed as I’m usually always connected but yeah no great if you want to just go off somewhere with no connection😰 good spot!

if in the next video you will be testing string instruments, could you please play ost 168 from omori?
That's crazy what you can have for free 🥹
Untold strings sounds like the diamonds lol
Sorry, plugins or kontakt libraries?
Both 🙌🏻
So many good orchestral plugins.
for anyone who doesnt wanna deal with the kontakt player. Easy strings and Vaults are the ones that don't require it
What about Labs and Vaults? They don’t use Kontakt Player either? 🤔🤷🏻♂️
@@DixonBeatsI was talking about plugins shown in the video. Though mb on misunderstanding how Vaults works lel
I also show Labs and Vaults in the video?👀 What is it that people don’t like about Kontakt player out of curiosity?

Wow, these are comparable to $100+ plug-ins. Good looking out!
