Child of the Stars || Desert duo animatic || 3rd life

There are two things i learned from making this. 1 : i can apparently only draw shoes in 2 perspectives. And 2: the people who do those fully colored animatics to the whole song are terrifying because this doesn’t even have color and it still took be 3 days working from sunrise to sunset to finish.

Thanks :D I had the idea for the audio clips about half way through and thought it would be a nice touch. I was struggling so much with trying to convey their emotions and had to redraw almost everything at least once so I’m glad that payed off. I listened to that song on repeat and absolutely nothing else for the entire process of making this so I think I never want to hear that song ever again; or at least not for a long time. (when I showed this to my stepfather he said it looked like they were wearing sketchers)

Thanks :D! I normally do a much more complicated and realistic style(I drew my pfp for reference) so I was really struggling trying to simplify it in a way that would word for an animatic. I wasn’t quite happy with the style of them by the time I finished this so hearing that means a lot
