    How Many 189, 190, 491, 186, GTV and Partner Visa from 1 July 2024?
The Immigration Allocations have been released which means we can see which types of visas will have the most opportunity.
As was stated in the Budget announcement, This Budget supports skills in demand, with around 70 per cent of the permanent Migration Program allocated to skilled visa categories.
So let's go through the allocation table which provides the numbers for this year and then the new numbers for next year from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.
Employer Sponsored PR, so that is the 186 visa, is the big winner, with a rise from 36,825 to 44,000. That is an extra 7,175 186 visas.
Skilled Independent 189 Is the big loser going from 30,375 to 16,900.
Regional which included the 491 and 494 has gone slightly up from 32,300 to 33,000.
State nominated 190 is slightly up from 30,400 to 33,000.
Business Innovation & Investment 188 is further cut from 1,900 to 1,000.
The budget papers say they will close the 188 and open a new visa called.
Global Talent (Independent) has reduced from 5,000 to 4,000.
Distinguished Talent has remained the same at 300.
The family visas have remained the same, with the Partner visa still having an indicated planning level of 40,500.
    Summary:
The overall summary is that Employer sponsored has gone up.
That skilled independent has been cut by almost half.
That the State Nominated and Regional Visas have gone up.
The explanation is that the Government is still looking to fill skills shortages, so employer sponsored is up.
Plus, the housing shortage has meant the government wants to encourage migrants to regional areas, so less 189 visa and more state and regional visa.

Hello Professor, can I get an exemption to meet the English language requirements if I am nominated by an offshore company or related entity and pay at least A$96,400 for a 482 visa?

Can you recommend a visa lawyer for processing my partner visa and my son to apply a Australian citizenship by decent?

Thank you. My wife and I are planing to immigrate to Australia with our two kids in 2025. We believe we have good chances to get the 189/190/491 visas, based on the score we achieved (age cap, experience, skill and English proficiency). From the numbers recently released for the Migration Program for 2024-2025, would you think it will be harder to get these visas? How can we reach your firm for a consultation appointment?

My advice mate is to immigrate once you have PR or not bother. I got PR before arriving, was the best decision I ever made. I see how other immigrants struggle here for years chasing the PR dream when they would otherwise be buying a house, statying a family etc. If we came here as temporary residents, honestly we would have gone home years ago. However, with PR life in Australia is glorious

@@bl9150 sure thing. Same thought over here, mate. I am an experienced lawyer and she is an curriculum coordinator in an rewarded international school here in Brazil. Both with a consolidated carrear. We would not throw it away to live a struggling life anywhere, even if it was in such a place as Australia… We’re fully prepared for this project, but the only chance we leave is with the PR in hands. That’s why I’m gathering all kind of information possible.
