This is a music project organized by the guy you saw at the start of the video, the idea is to make music to remind people to care about the nature and help the nature in the process by donations and planting trees (with the financial gains from the project). All the songs in this series is fantastic and most people are just ordinary citizens who participate in this project but some are big names, like some comedians, actors, singers etc. and the music is mostly old folk songs from different areas of Turkey. I strongly recommend reacting to the other songs as you will see many familiar faces from the Turkish movies you reacted before, and also many different local instruments.
Although the first song “Deniz üstü Köpürür” is anonymous, it is known as Cem Karaca's song, he was one of the most important singer of Turkey. He was in love with his country but he was banned and exiled from the country for organizing and supporting terror, according to his songs. He had to live in Germany for 3 years. When he came back to his country, he kept singing withouth any fear. He was a great musician, he died 17 years ago. And he has a son named Emrah Karaca, which is the first singer of this video. He reminds me of his dad, it's kinda sad but also good to know that Cem Karaca still has a piece in this country. You should react Cem Karaca, i believe you’ll like his songs. Thanks for the great reaction 💕
@@JanneNordman He wasnt exiled for anything terror related, he just supported the working class and was deemed a communist. This was the cold war era. You were either with the capitalists or communists, remember?
I haven't seen anything like in Finland either. They are singing Folk Songs from all over Turkey. That is really great. Also, second Türkü happy but its story is sad :( In one of the villages around Kağızman, there were two couples who love each other so much and the woman was ill. ... The woman died before the pomegranate (nar) can grow from Kağızman due to the difficulties of transportation at that time. Then this song was created.
You made a great come back on UA-cam. 🥳 Play for nature is a great project ever made. Thanks to people on UA-cam that are curious about Türks and Türks' culture , they disseminate this gorgeous project to the people that never heard about it. And I hope that you too will share to your friends or family.. By this song we remembered the last heartbreaking summer, fires continued days after days.. we cried a lot for the nature.. each of us are citizens of the world, we have to protect our home

People said that help should come from foreign countries to put out forest fires more easily. Because fire broke out in many places and there was no helicopter to extinguish them all. That's why people were asking for help. Some people said we don't need help. But our forests were on fire. Doğa için çal is a really good project.
hello jane. Here, artists from different cities have done this work under the name of sing for nature program. There are burned forests in it. and all said for nature.

There are so many great Turkish songs! Especially the folk ones! There are two great music directions in Turkey. The turkish art music and the turkish folk music. Art music has some good songs, but I think that most Turkish people can relate more to the Folk songs of Turkey! Those who you reacted to are belonging to folk music. God bless you bro
It wasnt written for a lost gf! What??? When he was in exile he was in Greece for a while, he used to drink every night looking at the lights of Turkish coast since it is so close, hence the line "kayığa da binsem götürür" meaning a small rowboat even can take me there.
ah Janne , this song after such a disaster is really important for us . How meaningful that you caught the sadness in the song and then remembered the forest fires in our country. you really understand us, thank you. Do you know what he said in the forest? "My departure from this world is sake of the love of the country". 😊 Those who are against the global call generally hold the belief that "the Turk has no friend but the Turk". Of course, the effect of the wars on this is huge. It is known that those ( a terrorist organization called PKK ) who burned these forests received weapons from big states. 😔
