    Hey, Nick here! This channel started with us traveling across the southern United States during winter of 2018, and has evolved into a new adventure in and of itself.
    In 2020, we added a new member to our family, moved to our new home base in Tennessee and embarked on another adventure over the summer. In that adventure, I realized that there was a huge need for a rock-solid internet device, specifically made for those on the go.
    When we arrived home in the fall, we began work on what would be our newest adventure - bringing a brand new device to the world that will help people fulfill their dreams of hitting the road and staying 'connected' wherever they are.
    To say I'm excited would be an under-statement!
    We LOVE to explore this wonderful world our God created, and now with this additional calling, we are super excited to see where the road will lead! This channel will be used chronicle our adventures, show the behind-the-scenes details on our family business, and of course, show you the 'out of the box' things we'll come across in our explorations.
    We'd love to have you hang with us. Whether we are in Insty Headquarters, rounding up chickens or goats, or on the road adventuring, it just wouldn't be the same without you!

    Don’t put a CP4 back in there. Replace it with the S&S DCR pump and never worry again.
    Edit: I see you went with the new truck. It still has the same Cp4 pump. Run fuel additive in the future but you’re still going to want to spend a few grand to replace the CP4 pump before it costs you 17k.

    My brother, please either install the upgraded fuel pump from S&S or get their disaster prevention kit installed. It will save your motor so this doesn't happen again. Bosch really screwed the pooch with that CP4 design

    Hey Nick, Dan and Laura. When that mechanic said you had a fleet truck because you had the same airlift gauge system and control as I do, I would have called a tow truck and ran out of there as fast as I could. I've owned duallys before and one thing I can say when they're empty and not pulling anything they handle like giant go-karts LOL. You're going to enjoy that way more than your last truck, especially with towing a fifth wheel. Hope you get that going soon. That's a pretty tight stable to hold the whole zoo in LOL. When you get back and the dust settles, we'll take care of that package that you sent us and thank you so much! Thank you so much from the covid times to now keeping us connected and in some of the most remote places I would have never thought insty connect could connect. Take care you guys.

      Hey Guys! Yes, that truck is amazing - we've been all around and it is DEFINITELY the best truck for that 5'er. It's so smooth going down the road. Makes those 26 hour trips feel like nothing. Let me know how it goes when you get the package!

    My friends brother has a 2018 F250 with around 160k miles on it, currently in the shop with same issue. Approx 4 months ago he had the 3rd DEF pump replaced.

    Repeating the same process and expecting a different result? A CP4 is a CP4 and Ford is the only manufacturer to continue to use a know defected high pressure fuel pump. Bad fuel will kill them for sure but they will fail all on their own no matter what you do to try to prevent that from happening. Both RAM and GM no longer use a CP4. Why would you buy another Ford knowing this?

    • @WeCanExploreIt
      @WeCanExploreIt  Місяць тому +1

      @jimm2442 - I hear ya. It's a personal preference I guess. There are "things" with every manufacturer. I've had a bad taste in my mouth from watching RAM trucks rust out over the wheel wells, or still remember the few times I've had to bring my Duramax van in for DEF work, and then eventually having to delete it for multiple thousands of dollars because Chevy couldn't provide a replacement part for the DEF system.
      I test drove a RAM before buying our white truck, and to be honest, I didn't like it at all. Like I said, personal preference I guess. To me, there's nothing like a Ford when I hit the accelerator and go up a hill like there was nothing behind me. I will be investigating what I can do when this truck is out of warranty though so I can try to keep this from happening again. There were some comments that I'll definitely be checking out. Thanks for the comment!

      I have a Chevy too, and have an old video "Old Tucson" where that left us high and dry from DEF issues. Not quite stranded, but not quite problem free either. I guess there are things about all. Maybe I should try a cybertruck??

      Select 2024 Silverado 1500 and Silverado HD trucks may have a condition where the roof panel on the passenger’s side may split, thus requiring immediate attention. Certified GM technicians are to inspect the passenger-side roof panel and MIG weld the split panel as necessary.

      @@WeCanExploreIt my Silverado has a Def tank recall. It was an easy fix. I dropped the tank and added a new one. Problem solved for less than $250 out of pocket. That's nothing compared to ford's issues. I have friends out $17,000 over their brand new trucks engines failing.
      Besides that def tank, I've NEVER had issues with Chevy and will stand by them. Chevy sends out notices like stalkers. Ford, they will leave you hanging and dodge all accountability.

      @WeCanExploreIt  Місяць тому

      No I didn't. The initial shop was the one that didn't know what the air bag dials were - we then had it towed to a Ford dealer. I bought a truck from a whole different Ford dealer as well.
